Claims
- 1. A charge/discharge control circuit comprising:
- voltage dividing means for dividing a voltage of an electric power source;
- overcharge voltage detection means and overdischarge voltage detection means for detecting a divided voltage output from the voltage dividing means; and
- control means for processing a signal from the overcharge voltage detection means and the overdischarge voltage detection means and for outputting a signal for controlling the charge/discharge of the electric power source;
- wherein an overcharge reference voltage source used for the overcharge voltage detection means is used also as an overdischarge reference voltage source for the overdischarge voltage detection means.
- 2. A chargeable electric power source apparatus having a secondary cell connected to an external electric power source terminal through a switching on means, and a charge/dischargecontrol circuit connected in parallel to the secondary cell for controlling the switching on means, the charge/discharge control circuit comprising:
- voltage dividing means for dividing a voltage of the secondary cell;
- overcharge voltage detection means and overdischarge voltage detection means for detecting a level of divided voltage outputs from the voltage dividing means; and
- control means for receiving and processing a signal from the overcharge voltage detection means and overdischarge voltage detection means and for controlling the switching on means;
- wherein an overcharge reference voltage source used for the overcharge voltage detection means is used also as an overdischarge reference voltage source for the overdischarge voltage detection means.
- 3. A charge/discharge control circuit comprising:
- an electric power source having a plurality of cells connected in series;
- voltage dividing means for dividing output voltages of the respective cells and an output voltage of the electric power source;
- voltage detection means for detecting a level of an output voltage of the voltage dividing means; and
- control means for receiving and processing a signal from the voltage detection means and for outputting a signal for controlling the charge/discharge of the electric power source.
- 4. A chargeable electric power source apparatus having a secondary cell connected through a switching on means from a charge/discharge electric power source terminal, the secondary cell comprising a plurality of cells connected in series, and a charge/discharge control circuit connected in parallel to the secondary cell for controlling the switching on means, the charge/discharge control circuit comprising:
- voltage dividing means for dividing output voltages of the respective cells and an output voltage of the secondary cell;
- voltage detection means for detecting a level of an output voltage of the voltage dividing means; and
- control means for receiving and processing a signal from the voltage detection means and for outputting a signal for controlling the switching on means.
