Claims
- 1. An exothermic composition comprising, as essential components,
an exothermic substance, a water absorptive polymer and/or a tackifier, a carbon component and/or a metal halide, an amount of water content in the composition which is greater than that required as an optimum amount for an exothermic reaction to occur, and wherein said exothermic composition is formed as a viscous fluid.
- 2. An exothermic composition formed as a viscous fluid as set forth in claim 1, said viscous fluid exothermic composition further comprising
at least one component selected from the group consisting of an inorganic or organic water retainer, pH adjusters, surface active agents and defoamers.
- 3. An exothermic composition as defined in claim 1, wherein said viscous fluid exothermic composition has a viscosity of 1,000 to 7,000,000 cps at 20° C.
- 4. An exothermic composition as defined in claim 2, wherein said viscous fluid exothermic composition has a viscosity of 1,000 to 7,500,000 cps at 20° C.
