Claims
- 1. A magneto optical recording medium comprising:
- a substrate comprising polycarbonate;
- an interference layer comprising tantalum oxide having a thickness of 500 to 1,200 .ANG. and a refractive index of 2.1 to 2.3, on said substrate directly deposited;
- a recording layer comprising a TbFeCo alloy having a thickness of 200 to 300 .ANG., on said interference layer directly deposited;
- a heat insulating layer having a thickness of 200 to 500 .ANG., on said recording layer directly deposited, said heat insulating layer being a layer comprising silicon nitride having a refractive index of 1.6 to 2.2 or a layer comprising silicon oxide having a refractive index of 1.4 to 2.0; and
- a reflective layer of Al alloy containing Ta, wherein the atomic percentage of Ta is 1 to 3% of the atomic amount of Al, and having a thickness of 400 to 1,200 .ANG., on said heat insulating layer directly deposited.
- 2. A magneto optical recording medium according to claim 1, wherein a protective layer is directly deposited on the reflective layer.
