Abstract
A method of hygienically and aesthetically preparing a seat may be provided, wherein the method embodies a tailored fabric also adapted to be adorned or worn by a human user.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to hygienic seat coverings and, more particularly, to a method of hygienically and aesthetically preparing a seat, wherein the method embodies a tailored fabric also adapted to be adorned or worn by a human user.

When using public seating, such as on a bus, subway car, train, taxi, bench etc. many users of such seats have an inborn repulsion to the possibility that by sitting on the seat they may be coming in contact with something that is contagious or that can leave a stain or odor on their person or clothing.

As can be seen, there is a need for a method of hygienically and aesthetically preparing a seat, wherein the method embodies a tailored fabric also adapted to be adorned or worn by a human user. The piece of tailored fabric may be draped over the seat portion of a chair or bench etc., creating a clean and hygienic barrier between the seat and the user. This is a new category of accessory that no one has ever invented or brought to market, that will be referred to as a “SEAT SCARF”

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In one aspect of the present invention, a method of providing a hygienic and clean barrier to a seat, including the following: providing a piece of fabric; and draping the piece of fabric on the seat, wherein the piece of fabric is between 75 and 35 inches wide, and 65 and 45 inches long, subject to change or re-design based on the evolution of the invention and wherein the piece of fabric is planar, having a thicken of less than a half of an inch.

In another aspect of the present invention, a method of providing a hygienic and clean barrier for a seat that can be worn by a human user, including the following: providing a piece of fabric; dimensioning the piece of fabric for the human user to wear about their neck or head; removing the piece of fabric from said neck or head; and draping the piece of fabric on the seat.

These and other features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings, description and claims.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.

Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method of hygienically and aesthetically preparing a seat, wherein the method embodies a tailored fabric also adapted to be adorned or worn by a human user.

Referring to FIGS. 1 through 4, the present invention may include a method of hygienically and aesthetically preparing a seat 18 wherein the method embodies a tailored fabric 10 also adapted to be adorned or worn by a human user 16. The piece of tailored fabric 10 may be 54 inches wide, 45 inches long and have a thicken of less than a half of an inch. In certain embodiments, the piece of tailored fabric 10 may be doubled square. Size is subject to change and re-design based on the evolution of the invention.

A method of using the present invention may include the following. The piece of tailored fabric 10 disclosed above may be provided. The user 16 may drape the piece of tailored fabric 10 over a seat 18, such as the seat portion of a chair or bench 12 or 14, creating a hygienic and clean barrier for the user 16 to sit on.

The piece of tailored fabric 10 may be dimensioned and adapted to be wearable by the user 16, such as an aesthetic, fashionable neckwear or headwear.

It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
