Claims
- 1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting:
a) SEQ ID NO: 1; b) the complement of SEQ ID NO: 1; c) nucleic acid molecule which is greater than about 90 percent identical to the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or the complement of SEQ ID NO: 1; d) nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3; and e) nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence which is greater than about 93 percent identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3.
- 2. An isolated nucleic acid molecule according to claim 1 which is DNA.
- 3. An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a luciferase which hybridizes under high stringency conditions to a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting:
a) SEQ ID NO: 1; and b) the complement of SEQ ID NO: 1.
- 4. A method for preparing a polypeptide encoded by an isolated nucleic acid molecule, comprising culturing the recombinant host cell of claim 1 under conditions suitable for expression of said nucleic acid molecule.
- 5. An isolated nucleic acid molecule contained in deposit pB1-PvGR .
