1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an oil lamp structure, and more particularly, to a decorative oil lamp.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Nowadays, decorative oil lamps are widely used in west countries. The oil lamp can be filled with oil or liquid paraffin. As shown in
The present invention is to provide an oil lamp structure which has a better seal effect and can be transported with ease.
According to the present invention, there is provided an oil lamp structure which comprises an oil bottle, a dual lamp head and a wick. The dual lamp head comprises an inner plastic lamp head and an outer metallic lamp head. A cover is provided at a top end of the inner plastic lamp head. The wick has an upper end located under the cover and a lower end located in the oil bottle. The outer metallic lamp head has an opening at a top end thereof.
Preferably, a connecting part is formed at the joint of the top end of the inner plastic lamp head and the cover.
Preferably, the cover is threaded connected to the top end of the inner plastic lamp head.
Preferably, the cover is fitted on the inner plastic lamp head.
Preferably, a gap is defined between the inner plastic lamp head and the outer metallic lamp head.
The advantages of the present invention are as follows.
1. Having a better seal effect: When not in use, the wick is covered by the cover. The inner plastic lamp head provides a better seal effect. The oil lamp can be transported with ease and safely. When in use, the cover can be opened with ease for use. 2. Having a better heat radiation effect. The gap between the inner plastic lamp head and the outer metallic lamp head provides a better heat radiation effect. 3. Having a better safety. The cover can be threaded connected to the inner plastic lamp head or fitted on the inner plastic lamp head. After use, the cover can be firmly fitted on or threaded connected to the inner plastic lamp head again. 4. Mass production. The cover can be opened and disposed at the top end of the inner plastic lamp head, which is cost-effective.
Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in
The cover 230 is threaded connected to the top end of the inner plastic lamp head 210.
A gap 400 is defined between the inner plastic lamp head 210 and the outer metallic lamp head 220, providing a better heat radiation effect. When not in use, the upper end 301 of the wick 300 is covered by the cover 230. The inner plastic lamp head 210 provides a better seal effect. The oil lamp can be transported easily and safely. When in use, the cover 230 is opened by rotation. After use, the cover 230 is threaded connected to the inner plastic lamp head 210. This can prevent children from opening the cover 230 to cause an accident.
As shown in
Alternatively, there is no gap between the inner plastic lamp head 210 and the outer metallic lamp head 220. Besides, the cover 230 can be fitted on the inner plastic lamp head 210 firmly.
The present invention can be mass produced conveniently and safely and can be transported with ease. The cover can be opened and disposed at the top end of the inner plastic lamp head, which is cost-effective.
Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
