The present invention relates to a towel.
Physical exercise prevails in recent years. Both indoor fitness and outdoor activities can promote perspire and circulatory metabolism. It can cause a headache and other discomforts if the head and neck of a human body are inadvertently blown after the exercise which can cause a body temperature higher than the ambient temperature. A difference between the body temperature and the ambient temperature is greater after exercising in winter or indoor exercise and may result in serious discomfort. Although a conventional towel can be worn on the neck to keep warm and wipe sweat, it is insufficient for protection of the head.
The present invention is, therefore, arisen to obviate or at least mitigate the above-mentioned disadvantages.
The main object of the present invention is to provide a towel which has a hooded body which is storable.
To achieve the above and other objects, the present invention provides a towel, including a main body, a hooded body and a receiving portion. The main body is a strip. The hooded body is connected with the main body and protrudes beyond one side of the main body. The receiving portion has an opening, and the hooded body is storable in the receiving portion.

The main body 10 is a strip. The hooded body 20 is connected with the main body 10 and protrudes beyond one side of the main body 10. The receiving portion 30 has an opening 31, and the hooded body 20 is storable in the receiving portion 30. Therefore, the towel 1 can keep head and neck of a human body warm at the same time, and the hooded body 20 is storable.
A brim 21 of the hooded body 20 is adjacent to the receiving portion 30, and the hooded body 20 may be directly or indirectly connected with the receiving portion 30. The opening 31 faces toward the hooded body 20, which is convenient to store the hooded body 20 in the receiving portion 30. Preferably, a distance that the hooded body 20 protruding beyond the main body 10 is equal to or smaller than a depth of the receiving portion 30, and a width of the hooded body 20 is equal to or smaller than a width of the opening 31. Therefore, the hooded body 20 is received in the receiving portion 30 without complicated folding or winding and is flat and smooth for preferable comfort of wear. In this embodiment, a maximum width of the hooded body 20 is substantially equal to that of the receiving portion 30 so that the receiving portion 30 has fewer regions which are different in thickness when the hooded body 20 is received in the receiving portion 30. Visually, the towel 1 is the same as a convention towel which is unfolded. In use, the receiving portion 30 corresponds to the neck, and the receiving portion 30 is flat and smooth and has preferable comfort of wear when the hooded body 20 is received in the receiving portion 30.
In this embodiment, the hooded body 20 is made of a cloth member. The cloth member includes two wing portions 22. Two adjacent sides of the two wing portions 22 each have an arcuate edge 221, and the arcuate edges 221 of the two wing portions 22 are connected with each other for easy manufacturing. The hooded body 20 includes a connecting portion 23 at one side opposite to the two wing portions 22, and a periphery of the connecting portion 23 is detachably or fixedly connected with the main body 10. The receiving portion 30 is defined between the connecting portion 23 and the main body 10 for receiving the hooded body 20. However, the hooded body may be sewed by a plurality of cloth members; the receiving portion and the hooded body may be set separately; the receiving portion may be integrally formed as a part of the hooded body and connected with the main body.
At least one of two half portions 11 of the main body 10 has at least one pocket 12. Preferably, each of the two half portions 11 of the main body 10 has at least one of the pocket 12 which is configured to receive objects. Each of the at least one pocket 12 may be additionally connected to the main body 10 or integrally formed by two ends of the main body 10 (folded and sewed at the two ends of the main body 10). A length of the main body 10 is larger than or equal to 90 centimeters so that the towel 1 is long enough to be worn on the neck to wipe sweat and keep warm or be gripped when running. In addition, the two half portions 11 of the main body 10 can be used to cover on the face for windproofing and to cover on the nose to avoid inhalation of unclean air. Each side wall of the receiving portion 30 (the two half portions of the main body 10) is a single layer structure so that the towel 1 has a light weight and is portable.
Preferably, the towel 1 further includes an attachment mechanism 40 which is disposed on the hooded body 20 and the receiving portion 30 and configured to releasably connect the hooded body 20 and the receiving portion 30. One portion of the attachment mechanism 40 is disposed on an inner side of the receiving portion 30 and another portion of the attachment mechanism 40 is disposed on a lateral surface of the hooded body 20 opposite to the receiving portion 30. The portions of the attachment mechanism 40 disposed on the hooded body 20 and the receiving portion 30 correspond to each other and are releasably connected with each other when the hooded body 20 is received in the receiving portion 30, which prevents the hooded body 20 from moving randomly in the receiving portion 30 or dropping out of the receiving portion 30. In this embodiment, the attachment mechanism 40 is a hook-and-loop fastener such as Velcro which is convenience to use. However, the attachment mechanism may be a zipper, buckle, button, etc.
