- 1. 25-hydroxy-26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro cholecalciferol.
- 2. The compound of claim 1 in crystalline form.
- 3. Compounds having the formula ##STR5## where R is selcted from the group consisting of hydrogen, tetrahydropyranyl, an alkyl group having from 1 to about 4 carbon atoms, benzoyl or substituted benzoyl.
- 4. 3.beta.-acetoxy-26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluorocholesta-5,7-dien-25-ol.
- 5. 3.beta.-hydroxy-26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluorocholesta-5,7-dien-25-ol.
- 6. Compounds having the formula ##STR6## where R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, tetrahydropyranyl, an alkyl group having from 1 to about 4 carbon atoms, benzoyl or substituted benzoyl.
- 7. 3.beta.-acetoxy-26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-25-hydroxycholest-5-ene.
- 8. 3.beta.-hydroxy-26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-25-hydroxycholest-5-ene.
