Claims
- 1. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline derivative of the formula (I) ##STR119## in which A and B together represent a saturated or unsaturated butylene radical,
- X represents alkyl, halogen or alkoxy,
- Y represents hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, alkoxy or halogenoalkyl,
- Z represents alkyl, halogen or alkoxy,
- n represents a number 0, 1, 2 or 3,
- G represents the group ##STR120## in which L and M represent oxygen and/or sulphur,
- R.sup.1 represents optionally halogen-substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkylthioalkyl, polyalkoxyalkyl or cycloalkyl which can be interrupted by hereto atoms, optionally substituted phenyl, optionally substituted phenylalkyl, substituted hetaryl, substituted phenoxyalkyl or substituted hetaryloxyalkyl,
- R.sup.2 represents optionally halogen-substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxyalkyl, polyalkoxyalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl or benzyl,
- R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another represent optionally halogen-substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkylthio, alkenylthio, alkynylthio or cycloalkythio, and optionally substituted phenyl, phenoxy or phenylthio, and
- R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 independently of one another represent hydrogen, optionally halogen-substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy or alkoxyalkyl, optionally substituted phenyl, optionally substituted benzyl, or
- R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 together represent an alkylene radical which is optionally interrupted by oxygen.
- 2. A 3-hydroxy-4 -aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline derivative of the formula (I) according to claim 1, in which
- A and B together represent a saturated or unsaturated butylene radical which is optionally monosubstituted or polysubstituted by identical or different substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, optionally halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 -alkenyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyloxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -polyalkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkyl and phenyl or benzyl which are optionally substituted by halogen, nitrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -halogenoalkyl,
- X represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkoxy,
- Y represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -halogenoalkyl,,
- Z represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy,
- R.sup.1 represents optionally halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 -alkenyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkylthio-C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -polyalkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkyl or cycloalkyl which has 3 to 8 ring atoms and which can be interrupted by oxygen and/or sulphur atoms,
- or represents phenyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -halogenoalkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -halogenoalkoxy-,
- or represents phenyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -halogenoalkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -halogenoalkoxy-,
- or represents hetaryl which is optionally substituted by halogen and/or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl,
- or represents phenoxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which is optionally substituted by halogen and C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl-,
- or represents hetaryloxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, amino and C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl-,
- R.sup.2 represents optionally halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 -alkenyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -polyalkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkyl,
- or represents phenyl or benzyl which are optionally substituted by halogen, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -halogenoalkyl-,
- R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another represent optionally halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkylamino, di-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.8)-alkylamino, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkylthio, C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 -alkenylthio, C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 -alkynylthio or C.sub.3 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkylthio, or represent phenyl, phenoxy or phenylthio which are optionally substituted by halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -halogenoalkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylthio, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -halogenoalkylthio, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -halogenoalkyl, and

- or together represent a C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 -alkylene ring which is optionally interrupted by oxygen.
- 3. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxopyrazoline derivative of the formula (I) according to claim 1 in which
- A and B together represent a saturated or unsaturated butylene radical which is optionally monosubstituted or polysubstituted by identical or different substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, optionally halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.16 -alkenyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 -alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 -polyalkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, or phenyl or benzyl which are optionally substituted by halogen, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -halogenoalkyl,
- X represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy,
- Y represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.2 -halogenoalkyl,

- 4. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline derivative of the formula (I) according to claim 1, in which
- A and B together represent a saturated or unsaturated butylene radical which is optionally monosubstituted to trisubstituted by identical or different selected from the group consisting of halogen, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.14 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.14 -alkenyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.14 -alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -polyalkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, which are optionally substituted by fluorine or chlorine, or phenyl or benzyl which are optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, nitro, methyl, ethyl, propyl, i-propyl, methoxy, ethoxy or trifluoromethyl,
- X represents methyl, ethyl, propyl, i-propyl, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxy and ethoxy,
- Y represents hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, propyl, i-propyl, butyl, i-butyl, tert-butyl, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxy, ethoxy and trifluoromethyl,
- Z represents methyl, ethyl, i-propyl, butyl, i-butyl, tert-butyl, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxy and ethoxy,

- 5. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline derivative of the formula (I) according to claim 1, in which
- A and B together represent a saturated or unsaturated butylene radical which is optionally monosubstituted to trisubstituted by identical or different substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, and optionally fluorine- or chlorine-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkenyl and C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl.
- 6. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline derivative according to claim 1 wherein X is CH.sub.3, Y is CH.sub.3, and Z is 2-CH.sub.3 or 6-CH.sub.3.
- 7. 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline derivatives according to claim 1 wherein X is CH.sub.3, Y is CH.sub.3, and Z is 2-CH.sub.3.
- 8. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR121##
- 9. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR122##
- 10. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR123##
- 11. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR124##
- 12. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR125##
- 13. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl -5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR126##
- 14. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR127##
- 15. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR128##
- 16. A 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxo-pyrazoline compound according to claim 1 of the formula ##STR129##
- 17. A pesticidal composition comprising a pesticidally effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 and a diluent.
- 18. A method of combatting animal pests which comprises applying to such animal or an animal habitat a pesticidally effective amount of a compound according to claim 1.
- 19. A herbicidal composition comprising a herbicidally effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 and a diluent.
- 20. A method of combatting unwanted vegetation which comprises applying to such vegetation or to a locus from which it is desired to exclude such vegetation a herbicidally effective amount of a compound according to claim 1.
