Claims
- 1. A method of treatment for anticonvulsant effect which comprises orally administering to a mammal an effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of 3-phenoxy-1-azetidinecarboxamides having the formula: ##STR6## wherein; R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, fluoro, loweralkyl, loweralkoxy, trifluoromethyl, acetyl, or aminocarbonyl; and
- n is selected from 1 to 3 inclusive wherein R.sup.1 may be the same or different.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the compound is 3-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-1-azetidinecarboxamide.
- 3. The process of claim 1 wherein the compound is 3-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-1-azetidinecarboxamide.
