Claims
- 1. A method for lowering blood cholesterol which comprises administering to a patient in need of lowered cholesterol, an effective amount of a compound of formula (I) ##STR4## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently alkyl containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms or phenyl;
- R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are independently hydrogen or alkyl containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.5 is phenyl, naphthyl or substituted phenyl wherein the substituent is selected from the group consisting of methoxy, nitro and acetamide.
