A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a disorder selected from a bacterial infection, a protozoal infection, and disorders related to bacterial infections or protozoal infections, in a mammal, fish, or bird which comprises a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
- 6. A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a disorder selected from a bacterial infection, a protozoal infection, and disorders related to bacterial infections or protozoal infections, in a mammal, fish, or bird which comprises a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 in combination with a beta-lactam, quinolone, tetracycline, streptogramin, aminoglycoside, glycopeptide, macrolide or oxazolidinone antibiotic; or in combination with a compound which inhibits bacterial or protozoal efflux or degradation of a compound according to claim 1.
- 7. A method of treating a disorder selected from a bacterial infection, a protozoal infection, and disorders related to bacterial infections or protozoal infections, in a mammal, fish, or bird which comprises administering to said mammal, fish or bird a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1.
- 8. A method of treating a disorder selected from a bacterial infection, a protozoal infection, and disorders related to bacterial infections or protozoal infections, in a mammal, fish, or bird which comprises administering to said mammal, fish or bird a therapeutically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 in combination or co-administered with a beta-lactam, quinolone, tetracycline, streptogramin, aminoglycoside, glycopeptide, macrolide or oxazolidinone antibiotic; or in combination with a compound which inhibits bacterial or protozoal efflux or degradation of a compound according to claim 1.
