Claims
- 1. A compound of the formula ##STR25## wherein Ar is 2- or 3-thienyl.
- 2. The compound of claim 1 wherein Ar is 2-thienyl.
- 3. The compound of claim 1 wherein Ar is 3-thienyl.
- 4. A pharmaceutical composition suitable for inhibiting purine nucleoside phosphorylase activity in mammals comprising an effective purine nucleoside phosphorylase inhibiting amount of a compound of claim 1 in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.
- 5. The composition of claim 4 wherein Ar is 2-thienyl.
- 6. The composition of claim 4 wherein Ar is 3-thienyl.
