The present invention relates to the field of drinking cups and in particular to a rotary lid and a drinking cup having the rotatable lid.
As part of the modern lifestyle, more and more consumers like to choose different drinking cups for various drinks such as coffee or milky tea.
A drinking cup commonly used by a consumer usually includes a lid and a cup body to which the lid is tightened. When in the use of such a drinking cup, the consumer has to separate the tightened lid from the cup body to expose the rim of the cup body, and then stir the granular drink (or powdery drink) and water in the cup body to obtain the desired drink. After drinking, the consumer tightens the lid to the cup body and covers the rim.
However, the existing drinking cups have some defects. As an important structure of a drinking cup, the existing lid is almost designed in such a way that the lid body directly covers the rim of the cup body. To take a sip of his drink, the user has to completely separate the lid from the cup body, resulting in full exposure of the rim of the cup body to the air and thus the direct exposure of the drink in the cup body to the outside air. Consequently, it is inconvenient for the user to take a sip of his drink, and the drink in the cup body is readily polluted by impurities or bacteria in the air.
It is a first object of the present invention to provide a rotatable lid, which can seal a water outlet on the lid more reliably and can be easily disassembled for cleaning.
It is a second object of the present invention to provide a drinking cup having the rotatable lid.
For achieving the first object, the rotatable lid comprises: a lid body having a shaft hole, a water outlet and an air inlet;
a rotating knob, having a rotating shaft that inserts into the shaft hole, the rotating knob and the rotating shaft being rotatable relative to the lid body;
a water stopper, having a through hole for receiving a bottom end of the rotating shaft;
a moving component, having a locking portion and a clamping hole for clamping the rotating shaft;
wherein, the bottom end of the rotating shaft passes through the shaft hole, the through hole and the clamping hole fasten the moving component;
the water stopper has a water outlet sealing portion for sealing the water outlet, an air inlet sealing portion for sealing the air inlet, and a locking track formed on a bottom surface of the water stopper and around the through hole;
the water outlet sealing portion and the air inlet sealing portion of the water stopper respectively seal the water outlet and the air inlet on the lid body when the moving component rotates and the locking portion moves along the locking track.
Preferably, in the rotatable lid, the locking track has at least one ramp with a higher end and a lower end; two locking recesses for receiving the locking portion are formed at the higher end and the lower end of the ramp; the locking portion between the two locking recess, thus enabling the moving component to rotate along the locking track.
Preferably, the moving component has two symmetric locking portions, and the locking track of the water stopper has two centrally symmetrical ramps.
Preferably, in the rotatable lid, wherein multiple clamping claws are disposed on the bottom of the moving component, and the bottom end of the rotating shaft is secured by the clamping claw after passing through the rotating shaft hole, the opening and the clamping hole
Preferably, the clamping claws are integrated with the moving component.
As an improvement, in the rotatable lid, the rotating knob has a pushing portion for the user to push the rotating knob to rotate.
Preferably, an annular wall, which is formed along an edge of the lid body and extended upward, is arranged on a top surface of the lid body; the rotating shaft hole, the water outlet and the air inlet are all arranged on an inner side of the annular wall; the pushing portion has a neck snapped on the annular wall; and the pushing portion is slidable along the annular wall.
Preferably, in the rotatable lid, the rotating shaft has a prism and a clamping portion disposed at the bottom end; or, a support portion that supports the water stopper is disposed on an inner side of the bottom of the lid body and around the rotating shaft hole; or, at least two limiting posts capable of limiting the swing of the water outlet sealing portion are disposed on the inner side of the bottom of the lid body.
Preferably, in the rotatable lid, the rotating shaft has a sealing ring that seals a gap between the rotating shaft and the rotating shaft hole.
For achieving the second object, the drinking cup having the rotary cup, comprises a cup body, wherein the rotary lid is tightened to the cup body.
Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following beneficial effects.
Firstly, in the rotatable lid of the present invention, the lid body has the water outlet and the air inlet, while, the water stopper has the water outlet sealing portion and the air inlet sealing portion, as the rotating knob can be pushed to rotate on the lid body, and the moving component can move together with the rotating shaft of the rotating knob relative to the water stopper, the locking portion of the moving component driven by the rotating shaft can move on the locking track (from the higher end to the lower end of the locking track) to press upward the water stopper. Therefore, the water stopper correspondingly seals both of the water outlet and the air inlet on the lid body. In this way, the water outlet on the rotary lid is closed. It is convenient for a user to operate.
When the user wants to take a sip of his drink, the rotating knob can be pushed in an opposite direction, so that the locking portion of the moving component moves from the lower end to the higher end of the locking track. Therefore, the water outlet on the lid body is not sealed by the water outlet sealing portion of the water stopper any more, and the air inlet on the lid body is not sealed any more. In this way, the air in the cup body is communicated with the outside air, and the water in the cup body can flow out from the water outlet on the lid body fluently.
Secondly, the components of the rotatable lid of the present invention are connected with each other in such a way that they can be easily disassembled. Therefore, it is convenient for the user to disassemble the rotatable lid and clean the various components timely.
Thirdly, as the water stopper has two symmetrical ramp along which the locking portion of the moving component moves, the locking portion can move along the ramp to press upward the water stopper, therefore, the water outlet sealing portion and the air inlet sealing portion on the water stopper can respectively seal the water outlet and the air inlet on the lid body more stably and powerfully.
Finally, as a locking recess for receiving the locking portion of the moving component, is formed at each of the higher end and the lower end of the ramp on the water stopper, when the locking portion is inserted into the corresponding locking recess or removed out of the corresponding locking recess, a sound “takh-takh” is made due to the friction between the locking portion and the locking recess. Therefore, it is convenient for the user to determine whether the water inlet on the lid body has been closed or opened currently by the sound “takh-takh”.
The present invention will be further described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings by embodiments.
The lid body 1 has a shaft hole 11, a water outlet 12 and an air inlet 13. The rotating shaft hole 11, the water outlet 12 and the air inlet 13 are preferably disposed in a same line.
The rotating knob 2 has a rotating shaft 21 that inserts into the shaft hole 11, and the rotating knob 2 and the rotating shaft 21 being rotating relative to the lid body 1. For example, the rotating knob 2 has a pushing portion 22 by which the user turns the rotating knob 2. It is convenient for the user to turn the rotating knob 2 by pushing the pushing portion 22.
Specifically, an annular wall 14, which is formed along an edge of the lid body 1 and extended upward, is arranged on a top surface of the lid body 1; the rotating shaft hole 11, the water outlet 12 and the air inlet 13 are all arranged on an inner side of the annular wall 14; the pushing portion 22 has a neck 220 snapped on the annular wall 14; and the pushing portion 22 is slidable along the annular wall 14 in a sliding manner by the fitting of the neck 220 and the annular wall 14. The structure of the rotating knob 2 and the pushing portion 22 is shown in
The water stopper 3 has a through hole 31 for receiving a bottom end 210 of the rotating shaft 21, the water stopper 3 has a water outlet sealing portion 32 for sealing 1 the water outlet 12, an air inlet sealing portion 33 for sealing the air inlet 13, and a locking track 34 formed on a bottom surface of the water stopper 3 and around the through hole 31.
As shown in
Similarly, the air inlet sealing portion 33 in this embodiment comprises an air inlet sealing ridge 331 that is formed by the water stopper and an air inlet sealing ring 332 arranged on the air inlet sealing ridge 331. The water outlet sealing ring 322 and the air inlet sealing ring 332 may be silicone rings, if necessary.
To avoid the separation of the water outlet sealing ring 322 from the water outlet sealing ridge 321 and avoid the separation of the air inlet sealing ring 332 from the air inlet sealing ridge 331, with reference to
The moving component 4 has a locking portion 42 and a clamping hole 41 for clamping the rotating shaft 21;
wherein, the bottom end 210 of the rotating shaft 21 passes through the shaft hole 11, the through hole 31 and the clamping hole 41 fasten the moving component 4; the water outlet sealing portion 32 and the air inlet sealing portion 33 of the water stopper 3 respectively seal the water outlet 12 and the air inlet 13 on the lid body 1 when the moving component 4 rotates and locking portion 42 moves along the locking track 34.
As shown in
In detail, the movement of the locking portion 42 on the locking track 34 will be described below.
By pushing the pushing portion 22 on the rotating knob 2 in a direction to drive the moving component 4 to rotate together with the rotating shaft 21, a locking portion 42 (on the assumption that this locking portion 42 is corresponding to the water outlet sealing portion 32) at one end of the moving component 4 moves from the higher end to the lower end of a corresponding ramp. This locking portion 42 will have an upward pressing force to the water outlet sealing portion 32, accordingly the water outlet sealing portion 32 will be pressed upward and seal the water outlet 12, to avoid subsequent water leakage from the water outlet 12 on the lid body. In this way, the water outlet on the lid body is closed. Similarly, by the locking portion 42 (this locking portion 42 is corresponding to the air inlet sealing portion 33) at the other end of the moving component 4, the air inlet sealing portion 33 can also be pressed upward and seal the air inlet 13. Of course, if the pushing portion 22 on the rotating knob 2 is pushed in an opposite direction, the water outlet sealing portion 32 will not be pressed upward any more and the water outlet 12 will not be sealed any more, and the air inlet 13 will not be pressed and sealed by the air inlet sealing portion 33. In this way, the water outlet on the lid body is opened, and water can flow from the water outlet 12.
In this embodiment, the bottom end 210 of the rotating shaft 21 is fastened to the moving component 4 after successively passing through the rotating shaft hole 11, the opening 31 and the clamping hole 41, specifically as shown in
As shown in
Of course, a support portion 15 that supports the water stopper 3 is disposed on an inner side of the bottom of the lid body 1 and around the rotating shaft hole 11. By the support portion 15, the distance between the water stopper 3 and the lid body 1 is ensured. It is to be noted that, as shown in
In this embodiment, double thread layers, matched with the cup body, are formed on an inner wall of the lid body 1. It is convenient for the user to take a sip of his drink by holding the cup with his left hand or right hand.
The use of the rotary lid in this embodiment, after being tightened to the cup body containing a drink therein, will be described below with reference to
First, the user can push the pushing portion 22 of the rotating knob 2 to make the rotating knob 2 rotate, the moving component 4 can rotate relative to the water stopper 3 driven by the rotating shaft 21 on the rotating knob 2, and the two locking portions 42 of the moving component 4 move along the corresponding ramp;
when the locking portion 42 moves out of the locking recess 340 formed at the higher end of a corresponding ramp and into the locking recess 340 formed at the lower end of the ramp, the two locking portions on the moving component 4 will press upward the water stopper 3;
the pressed water stopper 3 moves towards the lid body 1, so that the water outlet sealing portion 32 of the water stopper 3 seals the water outlet 12 on the lid body 1 and the air inlet sealing portion 33 of the water stopper 3 seals the air inlet 13 on the lid body, at this time, the whole rotary lid is in the closed state in which no drink will flow out from the water outlet 12;
secondly, the user can push the pushing portion 22 of the rotating knob 2 in an opposite direction, the moving component 4 is driven again to rotate relative to the water stopper 3 by the rotating shaft 21 on the rotating knob 2; and the two locking portions 42 of the moving component 4 move along a corresponding ramp in an opposite direction (that is, move from the lower end to the higher end of the ramp);
when the locking portion 141 moves out of the locking recess 340 formed at the lower end of a ramp and into the locking recess 340 formed at the higher end of the ramp, the pressing force of the two locking portions 42 on the moving component 4 to the water stopper 3 will decrease; and
the water stopper 3 will move away from the lid body 1, so that the water outlet sealing portion 32 of the water stopper 3 will depart from the water outlet 12 and the air inlet sealing portion 33 of the water stopper 3 v the air inlet 13, at this time, the rotary lid is in the open state in which the air in the cup body is communicated with the outside air by the air inlet 13 on the lid body, therefore the drink can flow out from the water outlet 12 on the rotary lid.
