Abstract
The invention relates to a stock mechanism that can be used in hunting rifles, sniper rifles, infantry rifles and all similar weapons, where folding or separating the stock from the gun will provide ease of transport. Thanks to the stock mechanism developed in the invention, the stock can be completely removed from the gun in a very easy, fast, and ergonomic way. This makes the gun easier to carry. In addition, since users can disassemble the stock easily, quickly, and ergonomically, users can replace the existing stock with stocks suitable for their own use or in the desired structure at any time.
Description
FIELD OF DISCLOSURE

The invention relates to a stock mechanism that can be used in hunting rifles, sniper rifles, infantry rifles and all similar weapons, where folding or separating the stock from the gun will provide ease of transport.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Today, some of the stocks used in hunting rifles, sniper rifles, infantry rifles and similar firearms have a folding feature. However, these folding stocks fold in a single predetermined direction. Since these types of stocks can be folded in one direction, they cannot provide the advantage of being able to be folded in both directions.

Today, the complete removal of the stock found in hunting rifles, sniper rifles, infantry rifles and similar firearms requires tools and cannot be done quickly.

Today, hunting rifles, sniper rifles, infantry rifles and similar firearms allow the stock to be folded on both the right and left sides of the weapon, and they are complex structures with many parts. These structures are difficult to manufacture and costly to manufacture. In addition, in these structures, the stock cannot be completely separated from the gun. (Cannot be disassembled).

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention eliminates the disadvantages described above.

Thanks to the stock mechanism developed in the invention, the user can,

    • fold the stock right or left.
    • quickly remove the stock and carry it separately.
    • remove the stock and attach a different stock to the firearm.

Thanks to the stock mechanism developed in the invention, the stock can be folded both to the right and to the left. The fact that the stock can be folded both left and right gives the users more freedom to carry their gun. While the gun is not able to operate when the stock is folded to the right side (where the cocking handle is), when the stock is folded to the left side (where cocking handle is not present), the gun can be fired with the stock folded like a pistol. Thanks to the invention, users can determine the side to fold the stock according to their use.

The stock mechanism developed in the invention has a low number of parts, is easy to manufacture and has a low manufacturing cost.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The invention is a stock mechanism, comprised of,

    • The stock adapter (1.1.1) positioned behind the gun body (1.2),
    • The stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) inserted from top to bottom into the holes on the left side of the stock adapter (1.1.1) after passing through the stock left hinge spring (1.1.4).
    • The stock left hinge spring (1.1.4), positioned so that it remains between the upper surface of the holes on the left side of the stock adapter (1.1.1) and the head part of the stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) by passing the stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) through the hole in the middle.
    • The stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) inserted from top to bottom into the holes on the right side of the stock adapter (1.1.1) after passing through the stock right hinge spring (1.1.5).
    • The stock right hinge spring (1.1.5) positioned so that it remains between the upper surface of the holes on the right side of the stock adapter (1.1.1) and the head part of the stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) by passing the stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) through the hole in the middle
    • and
    • The stock body (1.1.6) that includes,
    • The left upper pawl section (1.1.6.1) attached to the upper small diameter part of stock left hinge pin (1.1.2.1) from the left upper opening (1.1.6.1.1), the left lower pawl section (1.1.6.2) attached to the lower small diameter of stock left hinge pin (1.1.2.2) from the left lower opening (1.1.6.2.1), the right upper pawl section (1.1.6.3), which is attached to the upper small diameter of stock right hinge pin (1.1.3.1) from the right upper opening (1.1.6.3.1), the right lower pawl section (1.1.6.4) attached to the lower small diameter of stock right hinge pin (1.1.3.2) from the right lower opening (1.1.6.4.1)

When the stock body (1.1.6) is desired to be folded to the right side of the gun body (1.2); by pressing the stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) from the top, the stock left hinge spring (1.1.4) is compressed. In this case, the upper small diameter part of stock left hinge pin (1.1.2.1) moves downwards and moves to the left upper opening (1.1.6.1.1) and the left upper pawl section (1.1.6.1) is removed. In the same way, the lower small diameter of stock left hinge pin (1.1.2.2) moves downwards and moves to the left lower opening (1.1.6.2.1) and the left lower pawl section (1.1.6.2) is removed. After the left upper pawl section (1.1.6.1) and the left lower pawl section (1.1.6.2) are removed, the stock body (1.1.6) rotates to the right in the axis of the stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) and the stock body (1.1.6) is positioned on the right side of the gun body (1.2). When the pressing force applied to the stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) is removed, the compressed stock left hinge spring (1.1.4) returns to its original position.

When the stock body (1.1.6) is desired to be folded to the left side of the gun body (1.2); by pressing the stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) from the top, the stock right hinge spring (1.1.5) is compressed. In this case, the upper small diameter of stock right hinge pin (1.1.3.1) of the stock moves downwards and moves to the right upper opening (1.1.6.3.1), and the right upper pawl section (1.1.6.3) is removed. In the same way, the lower small diameter of stock right hinge pin (1.1.3.2) moves downwards and moves to the right lower opening (1.1.6.4.1) and the right lower pawl section (1.1.6.4) is removed. After the right upper pawl section (1.1.6.3) and right lower pawl section (1.1.6.4) are removed, the stock body (1.1.6) rotates to the left in the axis of the stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) and the stock body (1.1.6) is positioned on the left side of the gun body (1.2). When the pressing force applied to the stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) is removed, the compressed stock right hinge spring (1.1.5) returns to its original position.

When the stock body (1.1.6) is to be removed from the gun body (1.2); pressing both the stock left hinge pin (1.1.2) and the stock right hinge pin (1.1.3) from the top, the left upper pawl section (1.1.6.1), the left lower pawl section (1.1.6.2), the right upper pawl section (1.1.6.3) and the right lower pawl section (1.1.6.4) are removed. As a result, the stock body (1.1.6) is completely separated from the gun body (1.2).

The gun (1) consists of the stock group (1.1) and the gun body (1.2).

The stock mechanism developed in the invention can be made of any suitable material.
