Claims
- 1. Absorbent article, comprising an absorbent core, a topsheet, and a backsheet, wherein the absorbent core and the backsheet have a convective air permeability, and wherein the article has Wet Article Relative Humidity Differential (WA-RH-D) of less than 20%,
- 2. The absorbent article according to claim 1 wherein the article has Wet Article Relative Humidity Differential (WA-RH-D) of less than 15%.
- 3. The absorbent article according to claim 1 wherein the article has Wet Article Relative Humidity Differential (WA-RH-D) of less than 10%.
- 4. Absorbent article, comprising an absorbent core, a topsheet, and a backsheet, wherein the absorbent core provides a basis capacity of at least 0.7 ml/cm2 and the backsheet provides a Dynamic liquid impact performance of less than 20 g/m2.
- 5. Absorbent article according to claim 4, wherein the backsheet provides a polyhole rewet of less than 10 mg.
- 6. Absorbent article according to claim 4, wherein the absorbent core has a ultimate storage capacity of less than 1.5 times the design capacity.
- 7. Absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core, the absorbent core comprising at least a core region having an average basis capacity of at least 0.3 ml/cm2, the core region having a dry permeance of at least 1.0 Darcy/mm, and a wet permeance of at least 0.1 Darcy/mm; wherein the article has a wet permeance of at least 0.1 Darcy/mm.
- 8. Absorbent article according to claim 7, wherein the core region has a wet permeance of at least 3 Darcy/mm.
- 9. Absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core interposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, the absorbent core comprising a liquid storage region and a liquid acquisition/distribution region positioned between the liquid storage region and the topsheet, wherein the acquisition/distribution region comprises an evaporation barrier layer/region, and wherein the absorbent article provides an evaporation value of less than 30% when submitted to an Evaporation test.
- 10. Absorbent article according to claim 9, wherein the acquisition/distribution region has a drip capacity of at least 5 g/g.
- 11. Absorbent article according to claim 9, wherein the acquisition/distribution region comprises cellulosic material.
- 12. Absorbent article according to claim 9, further comprising a bellows, which is repeatably deformable to force air flow through the absorbent article in a controlled manner.
- 13. Absorbent article according to claim 9, wherein the article provides a Polyhole rewet of less than 0.10 mg.
- 14. Absorbent article according to claim 9, wherein the absorbent article is fitted on a wearer, thereby defining a space between the topsheet and the wearer, the space exhibiting an micro climate having a Relative Humidity of less than 50% RH.
