Claims
- 1. An absorbent article comprising, an absorbent pad having a loosely formed mass of fibers, said pad mass being at least partially formed from a comminuted supply feed roll material containing at least some waste absorbent material.
- 2. An absorbent article comprising, an absorbent pad having a loosely formed mass of hydrophilic fibers and a matrix of hydrophobic material dispersed in said mass, said pad mass and matrix being at least partially formed from a comminuted supply feed roll material containing hydrophilic and hydrophobic materials.
- 3. The article of claim 2 wherein at least a portion of said hydrophobic materials comprise a thermoplastic material fused in said supply feed roll.
- 4. An absorbent article comprising, an absorbent pad having a loosely formed mass of hydrophilic fibers and a matrix of hydrophobic material dispersed in said mass, said pad mass and matrix being simultaneously formed from at least one comminuted supply feed roll material of hydrophilic material and at least one separate comminuted supply feed roll material containing at least some hydrophobic material.
