Claims
- 1. A method for control of ticks which externally parasitize pets or wild animals or birds, which method comprises applying an acaricidally effective amount of an oxazoline compound to the pets or wild animals or birds, said compound represented by the following formula ##STR4## wherein R.sup.3 denotes a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.15 alkyl group or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.15 alkoxy group, and R.sup.2 denotes a fluorine atom or a chlorine atom.
- 2. A method according to claim 1 wherein R.sup.3 denotes a fluorine atom and R.sup.2 denotes a fluorine atom.
- 3. A method according to claim 1 wherein R.sup.3 denotes a methyl group and R.sup.2 denotes a fluorine atom.
