Claims
- 1. Acidulated decationized milk having a pH below or equal to 3.8, containing substantially the same content of proteins and lactose as ordinary milk, a mineral substance content less than that of ordinary milk, and trace amounts of sodium, potassium and calcium, and being storage stable at a temperature higher than 4.degree. C., while containing no substances which are extraneous to the milk, including mineral acids and organic acids.
- 2. Milk as claimed in claim 1 wherein the pH is from 1.5 to 3.5.
- 3. Milk as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the content of mineral substances is less than 4 g/liter.
- 4. Milk as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the Ca/P ratio is less than 0.5.
