The present invention relates to an action bar bushing apparatus that allows the action bar to be fixed to the barrel, that changes as a retainer pin apparatus and/or lever apparatus depending on the use preference, and that has been developed to facilitate the removal of the action bar in order to clean the rifle bolt and parts thereof.
In the state of the art, bullpup rifles are short and lightweight rifles. By means of this feature, it provides an advantage to the user who desires to use a smaller and lightweight rifle compared to other rifles. Bullpup rifles are generally the type of rifle in which the magazine, feeding and firing mechanism are placed behind the trigger and grip. Unlike other rifle types, there is no carrier pipe after the grip. Thus, it was provided that the overall length and weight of the rifle are reduced by keeping the barrel length constant. Another difference of these rifles from other firearms is that the action bar is fixedly positioned on the barrel, and the bolt itself moves on the action bar.
After pressing the trigger in bullpup rifles, the bolt is activated, and firing occurs. The firing mechanism occurs when the needle thereon contacts the explosion point of the ammunition, resulting in a large pressure occurring and ejection. After this event, the bolt moves back with high speed with the effect of pressure and re-establishes the system. As a result of this firing, a residue is formed inside the rifle structure due to the gunpowder in the ammunition. Cleaning this residue that is formed is crucial for the smooth functioning of the bolt.
In the state of the art, in order to clean this residue, first the barrel must be removed and then the action bar structure and bolt fixed with the action bar bushing must be removed. In order to perform part cleaning, the screw of the action bar fixed to the barrel must first be unscrewed, and then the barrel must be disassembled.
However, in the state of the art, removing the barrel as a solution is not easy for the user in all circumstances, and a key/tool is required to remove the action bushing.
Many problems related to this problem encountered in bullpup rifles in the prior art, such as the necessity of removing the action bar bushing and having to carry extra materials, the difficulty of disassembling the barrel and the inability to fully tighten the screw when reassembling the action bar, make the available techniques ineffective. One of the problems, the inability to tighten the screw completely, can cause advanced problems in rifles, such as accidents. With all this, problems in said state of the art such as the structures of the parts, the difficulties in use, the need for additional materials, the difficulty of the active cleaning for the user in the field, and the damage to the materials in the irregular cleaning of the bolt necessitated conducting an R&D study in this field.
The present invention relates to retainer pin and/or lever structures, which are located under an action bar bushing, which positions the action bar fixed to the barrel in bullpup rifles and provides ease of use for the cleaning of the bolt, which changes depending on the usage preference according to present invention.
The retainer pin according to present invention is positioned under the action bar bushing with a spring and a retainer pin connection plate, and fixes the action bar to the barrel, and aims to, when the parts are desired to be cleaned, ensure that said action bar is pulled up and removed by pulling the retainer pin connection plate easily by means of the spring and separating the pins on the plate from the action bar channels.
The lever according to present invention, which is positioned on the action bar bushing, ensures that the action bar is easily fixed to the barrel by using a lever fixing screw together with a lever bushing and lever socket and when the parts are desired to be cleaned, aims to easily separate the action bar from the barrel.
The figures of the action bar bushing apparatus for bullpup rifles are as follows;
The present invention is the action bar (4) bushing apparatus in bullpup rifles, and it is used together with the retainer pin (5) apparatus and/or lever (12) apparatus, depending on the usage preference of the present invention.
The present invention is positioned under the action bar bushing (26) as seen in
The present invention is the retainer pin (5) apparatus, and it was positioned under the action bar bushing (26) as seen in
The parts positioned on the barrel in bullpup rifles are piston nut (25), piston fixing ring (23), piston O-ring (24), piston (22), piston retaining plug (21), gas chamber (11). When the mechanism is cleaned as in the ones in the prior art, first of all, the action bar (4), which is fixed to the barrel, must be opened by removing the action bar bushing (26) and then the barrel (17) must be removed, and all these parts must be separated one by one. This situation is also disadvantageous.
The retainer pin and/or lever apparatus of the present invention, which is positioned under the action bar bushing (26) and provides ease of use, has been developed as a solution to these problems in prior art.
Firing in bullpup rifles occurs as a result of bolt (2) contacts the explosion point of the ammunition after the trigger is pressed, with moving back with great pressure and coming out of the ammunition by throwing it. The mechanism (2) moves backwards rapidly with the pressure formed during firing and said bolt (2) is prevented from being damaged by hitting the back by means of the compression of the recolt spring (1), which is positioned along the way behind the rifle bolt (2). While the bolt (2) moves backwards, the empty cartridge remaining in the system after firing is also thrown out of the system in the meantime. When the bolt (2) returns, new ammunition has taken its place and the system is re-established. Each time this event occurs, a residue is formed in the bolt (2) and in the rifle parts. Cleaning this residue regularly after each use is important for the long-lasting use of the rifle and the use of parts thereof. In
Fixing the action bar (4) to the barrel (17) consists of two stages. The first stage is that the action bar (4) is fitted on the action bar bushing (26) located on the barrel (17), and thereby preventing the moving back and forth of the action bar (4) on the barrel (17). At this stage, the action bar (4) is fitted on the action bar slot (27), which is formed from at least two partitions and where the end of the barrel (17) side is formed on the action bar bushing (26). As long as the action bar (4), which is fitted on the action bar slot, is not removed from this slot, its back and forth movement is prevented by the partition wall (28) inside the slot.
(
For this purpose, a lever socket (14) was formed on the partition wall (28) located on the action bar bushing (26), and the lever (12) was placed inside. By rotating the lever (12) around its own axis in the lever socket (14), in case where the arm of the lever (12) is positioned perpendicular to the barrel (17), the action bar (4) can be fitted on the action bar slot (29), which is located on the action bar bushing (26). When the lever (12) is turned parallel to the barrel (17), The tip of the lever (12) fit on the lever bearing (13) and prevents the action bar (4) to coming out of its slot. In order to prevent the lever (12) from coming out of the lever bearing (13) without manual intervention, an additional tooth is formed in the lever bearing.
