- 1. An additive mixture for improving the diecuttability characteristics of diecuttable polyester urethane foam which comprises (a) a diecuttability enhancing additive comprising a low molecular weight polyol selected from the groups consisting of (1) an aliphatic alcohol having the following structural formula: ##STR14## wherein R.sub.1 may be hydrogen, alkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.8), or cycloalkyl (C.sub.4 -C.sub.8); R.sub.2 may be hydrogen or alkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4); m and p are integer values, m and p may equal zero and the sum of m and p is 8 or less; and n may assume integer values from 1 to about 4; (2) a low molecular weight polymethylol compound having the following structural formula: ##STR15## wherein R.sub.1 may be hydrogen, lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to about C.sub.8) or methylol (CH.sub.2 OH); (3) an alkanolamine having the following structural formula: ##STR16## wherein R.sub.1 may be H or alkyl (C.sub.1 to about C.sub.4) and m and n are zero or may have integral values from one to about four; (4) alkylene oxide adducts having a functionality greater than 2 and a minimum hydroxyl number of about 100, and (5) mixtures thereof; (b) a co-additive being present in an amount sufficient to improve the diecuttability characteristics of diecuttable polyester foam; (c) a silicone surfactant; and (d) a diluent present in an amount sufficient to lower the viscosity of the mixture of (a), (b) and (c); said additive mixture being stable and having no tendency to layer out.
- 2. An additive mixture for improving the diecuttability characteristics of diecuttable polyester urethane foam which comprises (a) a diecuttability enhancing additive consisting of an aliphatic alcohol having the following structural formula: ##STR17## wherein R.sub.1 may be hydrogen, alkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.8), or cycloalkyl (C.sub.4 -C.sub.8); R.sub.2 may be hydrogen or alkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4); m and p are integer values, m and p may equal zero and the sum of m and p is 8 or less; and n may assume integer values from 1 to about 4; (b) a co-additive consisting of a sulfonated petroleum oil; said diecuttability enhancing additive and co-additive being present in an amount sufficient to improve the diecuttability characteristics of diecuttable polyester foam; (c) a silicone surfactant; and (d) a non-ionic surfactant present in an amount sufficient to reduce the viscosity of the mixture of (a), (b) and (c); said additive mixture being stable and having no tendency to layer out.
- 3. An additive mixture for improving the diecuttability characteristics for diecuttable polyester urethane foam which comprises (a) glycerol; (b) a sodium petroleum sulfonate anionic surfactant having a average molecular weight of 420 and a mineral content of 33 weight percent; said glycerol and anionic surfactant being present in an amount sufficient to improve the diecuttability characteristics of diecuttable polyester foam; (c) a cyanopropyl-substituted polymethylsiloxane hydride silicone surfactant having the average composition: ##STR18## and (d) a non-ionic surfactant wherein the hydrophobe is a mixture of C.sub.11 -C.sub.15 linear alcohols and the hydrophile is ethylene oxide present in an average amount of 9 mols/mol of hydrophobe; said non-ionic surfactant being present in an amount sufficient to lower the viscosity of the mixture of (a), (b) and (c) and said additive mixture being stable and having no tendency to layer out.
