Claims
- 1. A method of treating a patient to relieve inflammation, pain or fever comprising administering to said patient an anti-inflammatorily, analgesically or antipyretically effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR12## in which: R is a linear or branched alkyl radical of 1-18 C atoms, or phenylalkylene in which the alkylene chain has 1-6 C atoms,
- R.sub.1 is H, an aliphatic acyl radical of 1-6 C atoms or an aromatic acyl radical,
- R.sub.2 is H, an aliphatic acyl radical of 1-6 C atoms or an aromatic acyl radical, or alternatively the radicals R.sub.2 together form an isopropylidene chain
- n is 0 or 1.
- 2. A method according to claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 =R.sub.2 =H, R=CH.sub.3, and n=0.
- 3. A method according to claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 =R.sub.2 =H, R=CH.sub.3, and n=1.
