BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a brassiere and more particularly, to an adjustable brassiere support.
2. Description of the Related Art
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a conventional brassiere. According to this design, two pockets 2′ are respectively provided inside the cups of the brassiere 1′, and two paddings 3′ are respectively inserted into the pockets 2′ to support the cups of the brassiere 1′ in shape. According to this design, the paddings 3′ are not adjustable to fit the user's breasts respectively. In order to eliminate this problem, adjustable paddings are developed. FIG. 2 shows two adjustable paddings 4′ for brassiere. Each padding 4′ has a valve 5′ through which the desired amount of air/fluid can be filled into the padding 4′. However, this design of adjustable padding 4′ is still not satisfactory in function. When the padding 4′ received a high compressive force, the valve 5′ may break, thereby causing a leakage. Further, the valve 5′ starts to wear after a long use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide an adjustable brassiere support, which can be conveniently adjusted to fit the user's two breasts. It is another object of the present invention to provide an adjustable brassiere support, which is durable in use.
To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, the adjustable breasts support comprises two bladders filled with air/fluid, a neck in fluid communication between the bladders, and a clip for fastening to the neck to stop the passage between the bladders.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Referring to FIG. 3, an adjustable brassiere support in accordance with the present invention is formed of two waterproof plastic sheet members 10 peripherally sealed with a sealing line 12 by ultrasonic heat sealing. The two waterproof plastic sheet members 10 are symmetrical, each having a narrow middle part 11. When the two waterproof plastic sheet members 10 are peripherally sealed together, they form two bladders 100 and a tubular neck 110 connected between the bladders 100. The tubular neck 110 is formed of the narrow middle part 11 of each of the two waterproof plastic sheet members 10. When sealing, the two waterproof plastic sheet members 10 peripherally together with a heat sealing apparatus to form the sealing line 12, a small hole (not shown) is left so that a sufficient amount of air (or fluid) can be filled into the bladders 100 and the tubular neck 110. After filling of air (or fluid), this small hole is sealed to keep the bladders 100 and the tubular neck 110 in an airtight status.
Referring to FIGS. 5 and 7, the two bladders 100 of the adjustable brassiere support are inserted into in the pockets 2 inside the two cups of a brassiere 1. When in use, the user can squeeze one of the two bladders 100 of the adjustable brassiere to force the contained air (or fluid) toward the other of the two bladders 100 via the tubular neck 110 so as to adjust the inflation status of each bladder 100 subject to the size of the corresponding breast. When adjusted, a clip 15 is fastened to the tubular neck 110 to block the passage between the bladders 100.
Referring to FIGS. 6A and 6B, the bladders of the adjustable brassiere may be partially sealed to form oblique seam lines 13 or arched seam lines 14. These seam lines 13,14 cause the center area of each bladder of the brassiere to curve outwards, improving the breast lifting effect.
Referring to FIG. 8, a valve 20 may be installed in the tubular neck 110 between the bladders 100 (not shown). The valve 20 comprises a valve hole 21 in fluid communication between the two bladders 100, and a control plug 22 rotatable between a first position to block the valve hole 21 and a second position to open the valve hole 21.
A prototype of adjustable brassiere support has been constructed with the features of FIGS. 3˜8. The adjustable brassiere support functions smoothly to provide all the features discussed earlier.
