Claims
- 1. A width adjustable frame installable in an opening of a partition that has a partition thickness, the width adjustable frame comprising:a first frame member having a front surface and a back surface; a second frame member that has a front surface and a back surface and overlaps the first frame member in a frame width direction by an overlap amount, and back surface of the second frame member contacting the front surface of the first frame member where the second frame member overlaps the first member, the overlap amount being adjustable such that a width of the width adjustable frame can match the partition thickness; and a clip engaging member, comprising at least one of metal material and plastic material that urges the first frame member against the second frame member.
- 2. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a surface member mounted on the front surface of said first frame member, the surface member covering an edge of the second frame member.
- 3. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 1, said first and second frame members having an L-shaped cross section and an inverse L-shaped cross section, respectively.
- 4. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 2, wherein the surface member functions as a door stopper.
- 5. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 1, said first and second frame members including at least one frame adjustable fastener, each frame adjustable fastener comprising:a fixing member including an external thread member having a cylindrical manner for being incorporated at a partition side of an opening portion in a partition, and a base member for rotatably supporting said external thread member; and an internal thread member for being engaged with said external thread member and for being installed in a frame body.
- 6. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 2, said first and second frame members having an L-shaped cross section and an inverse L-shaped cross section, respectively.
- 7. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 5, wherein said internal thread member is in a cylindrical manner and includes a falling-preventing portion in a ring form on the outer periphery surface for press-fitting into holes provided in the frame body, an internal thread on an inner periphery surface for being engaged with said external thread member, and a groove provided on the falling-preventing portion in a longitudinal direction where the internal thread member extends.
- 8. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 2, wherein the surface member comprises a portion that extends parallel to the front surface of the first frame member and covers a portion of the front surface of the second frame member.
- 9. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 2, wherein an engaging groove is provided in the front surface of the first frame member, and the surface member is fixedly engaged in the engaging groove.
- 10. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 1, wherein the clip engaging member is provided on the back surface of the second frame member.
- 11. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 10, wherein the clip engaging member contacts the back surface of the first frame member.
- 12. A width adjustable frame installable in an opening of a partition that has a partition thickness, the width adjustable frame comprising:a first frame member having a front surface and a back surface, an engaging groove being provided in the front surface of the first frame member; a second frame member that has a front surface and a back surface and overlaps the first frame member in a frame width direction by an overlap amount, the back surface of the second frame member facing the front surface of the first frame member where the second frame member overlaps the first member, the overlap amount being adjustable such that a width of the width adjustable frame can match the partition thickness; and a surface member fixedly engaged in the engaging groove, the surface member covering an edge of the second frame member.
- 13. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 12, wherein the surface member protrudes from the front surface of the first frame member a sufficient distance to function as a door stopper.
- 14. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 12, wherein the surface member comprises a portion that extends parallel to the front surface of the first frame member and covers a portion of the front surface of the second frame member.
- 15. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 12, said first and second frame members including at least one frame adjustable fastener, each frame adjustable fastener comprising:a fixing member including an external thread member having a cylindrical manner for being incorporated at a partition side of an opening portion in a partition, and a base member for rotatably supporting said external thread member; and an internal thread member for being engaged with said external thread member and for being installed in a frame body.
- 16. A width adjustable frame as claimed in claim 15, wherein said internal thread member is in a cylindrical manner and includes a falling-preventing portion in a ring form on the outer periphery surface for press-fitting into holes provided in the frame body, an internal thread on an inner periphery surface for being engaged with said external thread member, and a groove provided on the falling-preventing portion in a longitudinal direction where the internal thread member extends.
