Claims
- 1. A car window sun screen structure, which mainly consists of a fold away sun screen and a supporting frame, said structure comprising:
a length of supporting frame; a supporting pad on each end of the supporting frame so that said supporting frame can be fixed at the edge of the car window; the sun screen, at one edge, secured to the supporting frame, and said screen capable of being laterally extended for arrangement adjacent to car window and provided shading from the entrance of sunlight into the vehicle and through the car window.
- 2. The car window sun screen structure as in claim 1, and including said adjustable supporting frame being fixed at a bottom edge and top edge to the framework of the car window and arranged substantially vertically thereof, said supporting frame being tubularly configured, and having a holding slot extending along its length, whereby the sun screen can be folded and stored through the slot within the tubular frame, and said sun screen is capable of being laterally extended to stretch over the car window and screen against the entrance of any sunlight.
- 3. The car window sun screen of claim 1, wherein there are a pair of supporting frames, each frame having a sun screen attached thereto, and said sun screens capable of being pulled towards each other and joined when extended to shade against the entrance of sunlight through the car window.
- 4. A car window sun screen structure including a pair of supporting frames, said supporting frames being upper and lower supporting frames, one supporting frame being affixed to the bottom window panel of the car window, the second supporting frame being fixed to the upper window frame of the car window, an expandable sun screen being fixed to each of the upper and lower supporting frames, and the sun screen capable of being extended laterally along the upper and lower supporting frames, to cover the car window and prevent the entrance of any sunlight therethrough.
- 5. The car window sun screen of claim 4 wherein the upper and lower ends of the sun screen insert into the upper and lower supporting frames, each supporting frame providing a guide groove along its length, to allow for the screen to slide laterally within said supporting frames when providing coverage over the car window to prevent the entrance of sunlight into the vehicle.
- 6. The car window sun screen of claim 5, and wherein said there screens capable of being drawn towards each other when sliding laterally along the upper and lower supporting frames to provide screen closure for the window to prevent entrance of sunlight therethrough.
- 7. A car window sun screen, which mainly consists of a fold away sun screen and supporting frame, comprising:
a length of supporting frame, said length of supporting frame capable of connecting with the lower frame of a car window, a structured arm extending upwardly from approximately one end of the supporting frame, an expandable screen connecting with the upright arm, said screen at its lower edge securing with the lower supporting frame, an adjustable guide provided within the lower supporting frame, whereby upon shifting of the adjustable guide, the screen may be laterally extended to provide coverage over the car window, or retracted for collapsing of the screen into nonusage.
- 8. A car window sun screen structure, which consists essentially of a fold away sun screen, comprising:
a length of supporting frame, said supporting frame comprising an upright rod, said rod having a pivot device secured thereto, a sun screen connecting with the upright rod and the pivot device, such that when the device is pivoted into a lateral position, expanding the screen to cover the car window and prevent entrance of sunlight into the vehicle.
- 9. The car window sun screen of claim 8, wherein said vertical rod is expandable, to provide for its adjustment and interconnected between the upper and lower window frames of the car window, for emplacement of the sun screen structure during usage.
- 10. The car window sun screen of claim 9 wherein said vertical rod is telescopically constructed, spring means provided within the telescoping rod to bias it into its expanded configuration.
- 11. The car window sun screen of claim 9 and including a sleeve provided upon the vertical rod, said sleeve provided for shifting vertically upon said rod for adjustment in the setting of the sun screen during usage, a lateral rod pivotally connected to the sleeve, and capable of being pivoted into an approximate horizontal position for expansion of the sun screen into its usable configuration, and said pivotal rod capable of being pivoted vertically, into proximity with the vertical rod, when collapsing the sun screen during nonusage.
- 12. The car window sun screen of claim 11 and including an arm integrally extending from the sleeve, and said pivotal rod being pivotally connected to said arm.
- 13. The car window sun screen of claim 12, wherein said sleeve and its integral arm capable of sliding vertically, to provide clearance for the operative components of the window frame during application of said sun screen structure during usage.
- 14. A car window sun screen structure of claim 13, and including a connector fixed between the vertical rod and the pivotal rod to affix the collapsed screen during nonusage.
