The adjustable support bar 100 additionally includes a first set of apertures 150, a second set of apertures 160, a third set of apertures 170 and a fourth set of apertures 180. The first set of apertures 150 is disposed on both sides 111 of the pair of wall anchor brackets 110. The second set of apertures 160 are disposed on the first ends 132 of the pair of extension tubes 130 and correspond in position with the first set of apertures 150 that are disposed on both sides 111 of the pair of wall anchor brackets 110 and removably receive a first securing pin 152 to removably secure the first ends 132 of the pair of extension tubes 130 to the pair of wall anchor brackets 110. The pair of extension tubes 130 are each approximately 12 inches in length but can extend outward up to approximately 3 inches and can be any suitable length or extend any suitable length outward. The third set of apertures 170 are disposed on the pair of extension tubes 130 and correspond in position with the fourth set of apertures 180 that are disposed on the first perpendicular extending end 144 and the second perpendicular extending end 146 of the u-shaped support bar 140 and removably receive a second securing pin 154 to removably secure the pair of extension tubes 130 to the first perpendicular extending end 144 and the second perpendicular extending end 146 of the u-shaped support bar 140.
The adjustable support bar 100 also includes a base extension tube 190. The base extension tube 190 is contained within the elongated base bar 142 of the u-shaped support bar 140 and allows the elongated base bar 142 to be extended. A fifth set of apertures 192 is disposed on the base extension tube 190 and correspond in position with a sixth set of apertures 194 that are disposed on the elongated base bar 142 of the u-shaped support bar 140 and removably receive a third securing pin 196 to removably secure the base extension tube 190 to the elongated base bar 142. The base extension tube 190 is approximately 8 inches in length but can be any suitable length.

The adjustable support bar is a U-shaped stainless steel brace which assists an individual to transfer their weight onto the adjustable support bar while the individual moves. Utilizing bolts, screws and a wall anchor bracket, the adjustable support bar can be attached to the wall which thereby provides a medium for stable mobility. The adjustable support bar can be positioned anywhere a need for sitting or standing assistance is desirable or necessary, which may help individuals feel more confident about their independence. The adjustable support bar may be readily available at renowned home care or medical supply retailers. The adjustable support bar can be extended vertically and horizontally from three to eight inches from the wall to meet the need of the user. The feature of the grab bar enables the individual to shorten the reaching distance, therefore allowing them to maintain their balance and prevent falls from occurring.
