Claims
- 1. A mechanism for controlling the flow of air from an air-conditioning unit comprising:
- a plurality of guide vanes mounted within an air outlet of said air-conditioning unit via pivotal bearings so as to engage in rotational movement to direct said flow of air, said plurality of guide vanes consisting of first and second guide vanes respectively located at opposite ends of a series of third guide vanes and each having rotational bearings connected to one another via a connection arm, said rotational and pivotal bearings of said second guide vane being closer together than those of said first guide vane, wherein intermediate connection shafts are connected at one end thereof to said connection arm and pivotally connected at another end thereof into movable fittings of said series of third guide vanes, said movable fittings consisting of elongated holes.
- 2. A mechanism for controlling the flow of air from an air-conditioning unit, comprising:
- a plurality of guide vanes mounted within an air outlet of said air-conditioning unit via pivotal bearings so as to engage in rotational movement to direct said flow of air, said plurality of guide vanes consisting of first and second guide vanes respectively located at opposite ends of a series of third guide vanes and each having rotational bearings connected to one another via a connection arm, said rotational and pivotal bearings of said second guide vane being closer together than those of said first guide vane, wherein intermediate connection shafts are connected at an end thereof to said connection arm and are movably connected at another end thereof into engagement portions of said series of third guide vanes, said engagement portions having an elongated hole along the length thereof; said series of third guide vanes having bearings located above said elongated hole for rotatably receiving said another end of the corresponding intermediate connection shafts.
- 3. A mechanism for controlling the flow of air from an air-conditioning unit, comprising:
- two series of guide vanes respectively located adjacent to one another in the center portion of an air outlet of said air-conditioning unit, said two series of guide vanes having a narrow space therebetween, each of said series of guide vanes engaging in rotational movement in opposite directions to thereby adjust a direction of said flow of air, each of said guide vanes having a series of cavities formed on a surface thereof for receiving dew.
