Claims
- 1. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms comprising:
an air sterilization assembly; at least a first air passageway and a second air passageway, said first air passageway extending between an entrance and said sterilization assembly and being substantially unobstructed, said second air passageway extending from said sterilization assembly to an air exhaust and being substantially unobstructed, said entrance and said air exhaust being situated within the interior of a chamber in which a volume of air is substantially enclosed; said air sterilization assembly further comprising an air sterilization chamber supporting one or more air passageways for confining an airstream flowing through said air sterilization assembly, and one or more heating elements connected to a power source; said heating elements being heated to a temperature of not less than 160degrees Celsius and being situated within said air passageways such that airborne micro-organisms within said airstream are exterminated by exposure to heat; said airstream having a continuous flow when said heating elements are at operating temperatures; the temperature of said airstream within said second passageway being only slightly higher than the temperature of said airstream within said first passageway.
- 2. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, further comprising said air sterilization assembly being situated within the interior of said chamber.
- 3. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, further comprising said air sterilization assembly being situated externally to said chamber.
- 4. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, further comprising said air sterilization assembly being situated within one or more walls comprising said chamber.
- 5. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, in which said chamber is a refrigerator.
- 6. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, in which said chamber further comprises a plurality of chambers.
- 7. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flow of said airstream is caused by heat convection within said air sterilization assembly.
- 8. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flow of said airstream is caused by a fan within said one or more of said air passageways.
- 9. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, in which said chamber further comprises a vehicle for transportation.
- 10. A sterilization system for exterminating airborne micro-organisms as claimed in claim 1, said air sterilization assembly further comprising a heat exchanger such that the temperature of said airstream at said air exhaust is substantially the same as the temperature of said airstream at said entrance.
