Claims
- 1. A device for securing an object in a desired location comprising:
a generally “C”-shaped member having an opening between two ends thereof leading to an interior space, the opening dimensioned for permitting a securing line to pass therethrough; and a sliding member dimensioned to be retained within the interior space and having means along a periphery for engaging the “C”-shaped member and an aperture therethrough for receiving a securing line, the sliding member movable between an upper position generally adjacent a top portion of the “C”-shaped member and a lower position generally adjacent a bottom portion of the “C”-shaped member; wherein in use the sliding member is positioned in the upper position, a first end of a securing line is passed through the sliding member aperture from a rear face to a front face, a portion of the securing line behind the sliding member is passed through the opening into the interior space and in front of the “C”-shaped member, and the sliding member is moved to the lower position, frictionally engaging the securing line against the bottom portion of the “C”-shaped member.
