Abstract
An alignment positioning structure for a container lid handle and a holding part includes: a body formed by surrounding a side to form an accommodating space, and a longitudinal lengthwise columnar body with an open end communicating with the accommodating space; a gripping protuberance being a convex surface protruded from a side of the body and each opposite end of the convex surface having an inwardly bent force applying surface; a lid having a combining section extended from a side of the lid for combining with the open end of the body and having two opposite first combining portions; a handle having two opposite end portions with a second combining portion for combining the two first combining portions; and a compensation portion having a gap formed between the lid and the open end of the body to define a relative position between the handle and the gripping protuberance.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a container, and more particularly to an alignment positioning structure for a lid handle and a holding part of a container.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

With reference to FIG. 15 for a conventional plastic can used for containing objects or food such as jelly, candy, cookies, nuts, etc., the can comprises a main body 91, a lid 92, and a handle 93 installed to the lid 92, wherein the main body 91 is formed by surrounding from a side 911 to have an interior space 912 and a longitudinal lengthwise columnar body, and an open end 913 is disposed at an end of the main body 91 and communicates with the interior space 912, and the other end of the main body 91 is a closed end 914, and the lid 92 is combined with the open end 913 of the main body 91 by a screw thread. To facilitate a user to hold the main body 91, a gripping protuberance 915 is formed and protruded outwardly from a side 911 of the main body 91 in a cross-sectional direction, in addition to the handle 93 provided for the user to hook and hold it. Therefore, the user can also grip the gripping protuberance 915 by one hand conveniently.

In addition, a sticker with advertising words, contents, trademarks and producer information is generally adhered onto the side 911 of the main body 91. However, in most cases, after the lid 92 of a product is rotated to lock with the main body 91, the relative position between the handle 93 and the side 911 of the main body 91 is not consistent, so that when the product is placed on a display rack for exhibition and the sticker is facing in a direction towards consumers, the gripping protuberance 915 faces inside, and the handle 93 may not be situated at a convenient position for the consumers to hook and hold the handle 93 by a hand.

In other words, if the relative position between the handle 93 and the side 911 of the main body 91 can be maintained consistently according to a uniform specification, the production cost can be lowered, and the advertising and promotion effects for the marketing can be improved, and the users can hold the container more conveniently and easily.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 for an alignment positioning structure for a container lid handle and a holding part in accordance with the first preferred embodiment of the present invention, the alignment positioning structure comprises a body 12, a gripping protuberance 13, a lid 14, a handle 15 and a first compensation portion 16.

The body 12 is formed by surrounding from a side 22 to have an accommodating space 24 and a longitudinal lengthwise columnar body, and an end of the body 12 is an open end 26 communicating with the accommodating space 24, and the other end of the body 12 is a closed end 28.

The gripping protuberance 13 is formed and protruded outwardly from the partial side 22 of the body 12 in a transverse direction, and the gripping protuberance 13 has a convex surface 32, and the convex surface 32 and the side 22 have a step difference, and an inwardly bent force applying surface 34 is formed at both opposite ends of the convex surface 32, so that the thumb and at least one finger of a user's hand can apply a pressure to each of the force applying surfaces 34 to hold the body 12 (as shown in FIG. 2); wherein an included angle substantially being equal to 90 degrees is formed between the convex surface 32 and the force applying surface 34. In general, if the included angle between the convex surface 32 and the force applying surface 34 is an acute angle, a better force applying structure will be achieved. In other words, slips will not occur easily while the user is applying the force.

The lid 14 has a top 42 and a bottom 44, and a combining section 46 such as a peripheral side is extended from a peripheral side of the top 42 in a direction towards the bottom 44 for combining with the open end 26 of the body 12, and the top 42 has two opposite first combining portions 421 such as a concave opening or a concave hole formed in the transverse direction.

The handle 15 is designed with a curved shape such as an arc shape or an inverted U-shape and has two opposite end portions 52, and the two end portions 52 respectively have a second combining portion 521 such as a protruding column. The two second combining portion 521 respectively pivotally couple with the two first combining portions 421.

A first thread 261 is formed on an outer peripheral side of the open end 26 of the body 12.

A second thread 461 is formed on an inner peripheral side of the combining section 46 of the lid 14 for spirally coupling to the first thread 261, so that the lid 14 can move longitudinally between a first position and a second position of the body 12. In this embodiment, the first position is defined as a position when the lid 14 starts combining with the open end 26 of the body 12, and the second position is defined as a position when the lid 14 rotates in a direction towards the closed end 28 to combine with the open end 26 of the body 12.

When the lid 14 is situated at the second position, an exterior included angle θ is formed along the longitudinal direction section of the force applying surface 34 and the longitudinal direction section between the two second combining portions 521, and the exterior included angle θ is equal to or smaller than 90 degrees, wherein when the lid 14 is situated at the second position, a first gap 48 is formed between an outer end of the open end 26 of the body 12 and the bottom 44 of the lid 14, and the bottom 44 has the first compensation portion 16 for compensating the first gap 48, so that the lid 14 can abut against the outer end of the open end 26 of the body 12 by the first compensation portion 16 along the longitudinal direction to maintain the exterior included angle θ constant. In other words, the relative position between the handle 15 and the gripping protuberance 13 is maintained.

When the second position is the last position defined with the lid 14 rotates in a direction towards the closed end 28 and enters and combines with the open end 26 of the body 12, a minimum distance between the lid 14 and the open end 26 of the body 12 is defined.

The present invention defines a relative position between the handle 15 and the gripping protuberance 13. In other words, the present invention defines a relative position with a positioning value between the handle 15 and the side 22 of the body 12, so that the relative position between the handle 15 and the side 22 of the body 12 of each product of the present invention can be kept substantially unchanged during mass production. In other words, a uniform specification can be maintained. Therefore, the present invention provide a convenient and easy way to adhere a sticker on the side 22 of the body 12, exhibit the product on a display rack for marketing, or allow a consumer/user holds the product.

In the first embodiment of the present invention as shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the first compensation portion 16 is formed by at least two corresponding outwardly convex bodies.

In the second embodiment of the present invention as shown in FIGS. 7 to 12, the bottom 44 does not have the first compensation portion 16, but the combining section 46 of the lid 14 has a second compensation portion 17. In other words, when the lid 14 is situated at the second position, a second gap 49 is formed between a peripheral side of the combining section 46 of the lid 14 and a screw peak of the first thread 261, and the peripheral side of the combining section 46 of the lid 14 has the second compensation portion 17 for compensating the second gap 49, so that the lid 14 abuts against a side of the open end 26 of the body 12 by the second compensation portion 17 along the transverse direction to define a relative position with a positioning value between the handle 15 and the side 22 of the body 12.

In the second embodiment of the present invention as shown in FIGS. 7 to 12, the second compensation portion 17 is an outwardly convex body.

In the third embodiment of the present invention as shown in FIGS. 13 and 14, the first compensation portion 16 and the second compensation portion 17 are provided at the same time to maintain a relative position with a positioning effect between the handle 15 and the side 22 of the body 12.
