Claims
- 1. A wireless core device module, comprising:
a transceiver; a display coupled to the transceiver; and a Compact-Flash interface coupled to the transceiver.
- 2. The device of claim 1 further comprising a headset jack coupled to the transceiver.
- 3. The device of claim 1 further comprising a power jack coupled to the transceiver.
- 4. The device of claim 1 further comprising an internal antenna coupled to the transceiver.
- 5. The device of claim 1 further comprising a speaker coupled to the transceiver.
- 6. The device of claim 1 further comprising a processor coupled to the transceiver.
- 7. The device of claim 6 further comprising memory coupled to the processor.
- 8. The device of claim 1 further comprising a battery attachment coupled to the transceiver.
- 9. The device of claim 8 wherein the battery attachment comprises a global positioning system (GPS) position locator chip coupled to the transceiver.
- 10. The device of claim 1 further comprising a PC card adapter coupled to the Compact-Flash interface.
- 11. The device of claim 1 further comprising a phone-type keypad attachment coupled to the Compact-Flash interface.
- 12. The device of claim 11 wherein the phone-type keypad attachment produces tones that enable communication with a telecommunications network.
- 13. The device of claim 1 further comprising a keyboard device coupled to the Compact-Flash interface.
- 14. The device of claim 13 wherein the keyboard device has a first door and a second door.
- 15. A means for receiving a wireless data transmission, comprising:
a transceiving means; a display means coupled to the transceiving means; and an interface means capable of mating with a Compact-Flash enabled port, the interface means coupled to the transceiving means.
- 16. The means for receiving of claim 15 further comprising a position locating means coupled to the tranceiving means.
- 17. The means for receiving of claim 15 further comprising a data entry means coupled to the transceiving means via the interface means.
- 18. The means for receiving of claim 17 wherein the data entry means is a keyboard device.
- 19. The means for receiving of claim 17 wherein the data entry means is a phone-type keypad attachment.
- 20. The means of claim 17 wherein the data entry means is capable of connecting a user with the Internet.
