Claims
- 1. An ATV comprising:
a frame; only four wheels suspended from the frame, two of which are front wheels and two of which are rear wheels, the front wheels defining a front axis and the rear wheels defining a rear axis, the front axis and the rear axis defining a wheelbase of greater than 51 inches, each wheel including an ATV-type tire; two shock absorbers connected to the frame, the shock absorbers associated with the rear wheels; a power unit for driving at least one of the wheels disposed on the frame; a straddle-type seat disposed on the frame; and handlebars for steering at least one of the wheels disposed on the frame.
- 2. The ATV of claim 1, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 52 inches.
- 3. The ATV of claim 1, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 53 inches.
- 4. The ATV of claim 1, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 54 inches.
- 5. The ATV of claim 1, wherein the wheelbase is between 52 and 72 inches.
- 6. The ATV of claim 5, wherein the wheelbase is between 55 and 72 inches.
- 7. The ATV of claim 6, wherein the wheelbase is between 55 and 65 inches.
- 8. The ATV of claim 7, wherein the wheelbase is between 56 and 64 inches.
- 9. An ATV comprising:
a frame; only four wheels suspended from the frame, two of which are front wheels and two of which are rear wheels, the front wheels defining a front axis and the rear wheels defining a rear axis, the front axis and the rear axis defining a wheelbase of greater than 51 inches, each wheel including an ATV-type tire; a power unit disposed on the frame; a drive shaft operatively interconnecting the power unit with at least one of the wheels; a straddle-type seat disposed on the frame; and handlebars for steering at least one of the wheels disposed on the frame.
- 10. The ATV of claim 9, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 52 inches.
- 11. The ATV of claim 9, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 53 inches.
- 12. The ATV of claim 9, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 54 inches.
- 13. The ATV of claim 9, wherein the wheelbase is between 52 and 72 inches.
- 14. The ATV of claim 13, wherein the wheelbase is between 55 and 65 inches.
- 15. The ATV of claim 14, wherein the wheelbase is between 56 and 64 inches.
- 16. An ATV comprising:
a frame; only four wheels suspended from the frame, two of which are front wheels and two of which are rear wheels, the front wheels defining a front axis and the rear wheels defining a rear axis, the front axis and the rear axis defining a wheelbase of greater than 51 inches, each wheel including an ATV-type tire; a power unit disposed on the frame; a drive shaft operatively connected to the power unit; a differential operatively interconnecting the drive shaft with at least one of the rear wheels; a straddle-type seat disposed on the frame; and handlebars for steering at least one of the wheels disposed on the frame.
- 17. The ATV of claim 16, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 52 inches.
- 18. The ATV of claim 16, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 53 inches.
- 19. The ATV of claim 16, wherein the wheelbase is greater than 54 inches.
- 20. The ATV of claim 16, wherein the wheelbase is between 52 and 72 inches.
- 21. The ATV of claim 20, wherein the wheelbase is between 55 and 72 inches.
- 22. The ATV of claim 21, wherein the wheelbase is between 55 and 65 inches.
- 23. The ATV of claim 22, wherein the wheelbase is between 56 and 64 inches.
- 24. The ATV of claim 23, wherein the drive shaft includes a universal joint.
