Claims
- 1. The compound 4-[4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyl-.alpha.,.alpha.-diphenyl-1-piperidinebutaneamide, N-oxide.
- 2. A composition comprising suitable pharmaceutical carriers and as active ingredient an anti-diarrheal effective amount of the compound 4-[4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyl-.alpha.,.alpha.-diphenyl-1-piperidinebutaneamide, N-oxide.
- 3. A method of treating warm-blooded animals suffering from diarrhea, which method comprises the systemic administration to warm-blooded animals of an effective anti-diarrheal amount of the compound 4-[4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyl-.alpha.,.alpha.-diphenyl-1-piperidine-butaneamide, N-oxide.
