Claims
- 1. A process for catalytic cracking of a hydrocarbon feed, comprising the steps of:
providing an initial hydrocarbon fraction; providing a catalyst comprising an aluminosilicate composition having an aluminosilicate framework and containing at least one metal other than aluminum incorporated into said aluminosilicate framework; and exposing said hydrocarbon to said catalyst under catalytic cracking conditions so as to provide an upgraded hydrocarbon product.

- 3. The process of claim 1, wherein said at least one metal is selected from the group consisting of boron, magnesium, phosphorous, titanium, chromium, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, gallium, zirconium and combinations thereof.
- 4. The process of claim 1, wherein said at least one metal is selected from the group consisting of boron, magnesium, phosphorus, titanium, chromium, iron, nickel, zinc, zirconium and combinations thereof.
- 5. The process of claim 1, wherein said at least one metal is selected from the group consisting of phosphorous, iron, nickel, zinc and combinations thereof.
- 6. The process of claim 1, wherein at least one metal is selected from the group consisting of chromium, zirconium and combinations thereof.
- 7. The process of claim 1, wherein said at least one metal is selected from the group consisting of nickel, zinc and combinations thereof.
- 8. The process of claim 1, wherein said upgraded hydrocarbon product has an LPG fraction which contains a higher ratio of olefins to paraffins as compared to said initial hydrocarbon fractions.
- 9. The process of claim 1, wherein said upgraded hydrocarbon product has an LPG fraction which contains a higher ratio of butenes to butanes as compared to said initial hydrocarbon fraction.
- 10. The process of claim 1, wherein said upgraded hydrocarbon product has an LPG fraction which contains a higher ratio of C3 to C4 than said initial hydrocarbon fraction.
