Claims
- 1. An aminopropanol derivative of the formula ##STR6## wherein R.sup.1 is n-propyl, isopropyl, cyclopropyl, 3-methoxyisopropyl or n-butyl, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or together with R.sup.1 and the nitrogen atom linking R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 form 4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl and R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are methyl or ethyl or a physiologically acceptable acid addition thereof.
- 2. An aminopropanol derivative as claimed in claim 1, which is 2-(2'-Hydroxy-3'-isopropylaminopropoxy)-.beta.-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 3. An aminopropanol derivative as claimed in claim 1, which is 2-(2'-Hydroxy-3'-n-propylaminopropoxy-.beta.-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 4. An aminopropanol derivative as claimed in claim 1, which is 2-(2'-Hydroxy-3'-cyclopropylaminopropoxy)-.beta.-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 5. An aminopropanol derivative as claimed in claim 1, which is 2-[2'-Hydroxy-3'-(3-methoxy-prop-2-yl-amino)-propoxy]-.beta.-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 6. An aminopropanol derivative as claimed in claim 1, which is 2-(2'-Hydroxy-3'-n-propylaminopropoxy]-.beta.-(4-diethylaminophenyl)-propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 7. 2-(2'-Hydroxy-3'-n-butylaminopropoxy)-.beta.-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 8. 2-[2'-Hydroxy-3'-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-propoxy]-5-methyl-.beta.-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-propiophenone or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 9. A therapeutic composition for treating cardiac arrhythmias and coronary insufficiency comprising a pharmaceutical excipient and an effective amount of an aminopropanol derivative as defined in claim 1.
- 10. The method of treating cardiac arrhythmias and coronary insufficiency in a patient suffering therefrom, which comprises administering to the patient an effective amount of an aminopropanol derivative as defined in claim 1.
