The present invention relates to a handgrip that can be used in every rifle type and can be adjusted in accordance with the user's comfort. The present invention particularly relates to a design developed for a handgrip, that may be customized by making adjustments on the rifle for each hand and arm length to be used in rifles such as bullpup, air-operated rifles, and firearms.
In rifles that are used today, in order to shoot both properly and accurately, the user should pull the trigger accurately in the direction of the target by grasping the rifle properly. The user uses his/her one hand to pull the trigger. In order to shoot accurately while pulling the trigger, the user grasps the handgrip with the same hand. The user grasps the handgrip with his/her palm and other fingers, as his/her index finger is placed on the trigger. Therefore, the distance between the trigger and the handgrip poses great importance in the performance of a proper and accurate shot.
In the state of the art, in accordance with the user portfolio; for example, a person, who has shorter fingers, experiences certain difficulties in pulling the trigger while grasping the handgrip. Such users are in need of the handgrip and trigger's distance to be shorter. Analogously, in the exact opposite situation, a user, who has longer fingers cannot grasp the handgrip when he/she places his/her index finger on the trigger, due to the gap inside his/her palm stemming from the shorter distance between the handgrip and the trigger. This situation can cause unfavorable results such as mistargeting while shooting, and the user may sustain damage caused by the recoil at the moment of shooting.
In the state of the art, as the components of the rifles, which are obtained as an output of the production, remain stable, it does not enable optional use. All of the users with different arm lengths encounter the problem of grasping in the rifle that does not allow optional use. Hence, similar to the others, unfavorable situations, such as the user's failure of targeting accurately, as well as health problems caused by recoil at the moment of shooting, can occur.
In consequence thereof, for the handgrips, which are essential for all firearm types, it has become necessary to conduct R&D studies on developing solutions for the current problems and eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages.
In accordance with an aspect of these disclosures, there is provided an adjustable handgrip mechanism, including at least two gears, that may be located on a body, and at least one slot that may be opened on a handgrip, wherein the slots may correspond to the gears.
The adjustable handgrip may further have at least one joint bolt, which may be positioned in the inner surface of the handgrip and also may have at least one linkage nut corresponding to the joint bolt, wherein the linkage nut may have at least two holes.
The adjustable handgrip mechanism may also have at least one washer which may ensure that the joint bolt is retained inside the handgrip and at least one lower lid which may be positioned on the lower portion of the handgrip and may have at least on fitting screw.
The present invention relates to an adjustable handgrip mechanism that can be used in every rifle type and is designed to eliminate all disadvantages present in the state of the art.

When the user wants to change the position of the handgrip (3) depending on his/her comfort of use, lower lid (7) is removed by opening the fitting screw (8). It is preferred that the handgrip (3) to be closer to the trigger if the user's hand and arm length are short. In the present case, lower lid (7) is opened by removing the fitting screw (8), and the handgrip (3) can be closely placed again on the trigger by removing it from where it is inserted by means of pulling it down. Accordingly, lower lid (7) is opened by removing the fitting screw (8), and the handgrip (3) can be distantly placed again on the trigger by removing it from where it places through pulling it down.
