This application is a division of application Ser. No. 08/545,498, filed Oct. 19, 1995, (now U.S. Pat. No. 5,942,117 which application is incorporated by reference herein as if fully set forth. The present application is a continuation in part of copending application Ser. No. 08/247,070 filed May 20, 1994, entitled “Apparatus for Microbial Dehalogenation,” which is a continuation in part of application Ser. No. 07/940,439 filed Sep. 4, 1992, entitled “Microbial Dehalogenation Using Methanosarcina,” which is now U.S. Pat. No. 5,342,769, which is a continuation in part of application Ser. No. 07/926,047, filed Aug. 4, 1992, entitled “Method and Apparatus for Bioremediation of Mixed Hazardous Wastes,” now U.S. Pat. No. 5,922,204, which applications and patent are incorporated by reference herein as if fully set forth.
