1. Fields of the Invention
The present invention relates to an adjustment device, and more particularly, to an adjustment device for adjustment of an angle of a grinding roller of a grinding machine.

However, the frame 4 is connected to one end of the grinding roller 3 which becomes a cantilever structure, and the grinding roller 3 may tilt after a period of time of use. Therefore, the feeding platform 2 is not parallel to the grinding roller 3, and the tilt grinding roller 3 cannot grind a flat and smooth surface on the object. The user has to adjust the grinding roller 3 frequently.
The present invention intends to provide an adjustment device for adjusting the grinding roller of a grinding machine, so as to improve the shortcomings mentioned above.
The present invention relates to an adjustment device for a grinding machine, and comprises a base and a U-shaped frame is located on the top of the base. The U-shaped frame has a first extension and a second extension, each of the first and second extensions has a first hole and a second hole which is an oval hole. Two tubular members are located on the base, and the first and second extensions are mounted to two respective outsides of the two tubular members. A feeding platform is located on the base. A grinding roller is transversely connected to the frame.
An adjustment device is connected to the frame and has a first shaft and a second shaft. The first shaft has a fixing end and an operation end. The fixing end of the first shaft extends through the tubular member and the first hole of the second extension. The operation end of the first shaft extends through the other tubular member and the first hole of the first extension. The second shaft has an elongate body which has a restriction end and a connection end which extends through the second hole of the second extension, the two tubular members and the second hole of the first extension. The restriction end is sized larger than the second hole of the second extension. The connection end extends beyond the second hole of the first extension. An eccentric sleeve is located in the second hole of the first extension and has a first eccentric hole defined axially therethrough. An adjustment member has a second eccentric hole defined axially therethrough. The eccentric sleeve securely extends through the second eccentric hole. The adjustment member is engaged with the second hole of the first extension. When rotating the adjustment member and the eccentric sleeve, the frame and the grinding roller are pivoted about the first shaft.
The primary object of the present invention is to provide an adjustment device for a grinding machine, the transverse grinding roller is adjusted an angle relative to the feeding platform by rotating the adjustment member and the eccentric sleeve. The frame and the grinding roller are pivoted about the first shaft so as to ensure that the object to be ground has a flat and smooth surface.

An adjustment device 50 is connected to the frame 20 and has a first shaft 53 and a second shaft 54. The first shaft has a fixing end 531 and an operation end 532. The fixing end 531 of the first shaft 53 extends through the tubular member and the first hole 51 of the second extension 210. The operation end 532 of the first shaft 53 extends through the other tubular member and the first hole 51 of the first extension 21. A first urging member 533 is connected to the operation end 532 extending beyond the first hole 52 of the first extension 21.
The second shaft 54 has an elongate body 541 which has a restriction end 544 and a connection end 545. The connection end 545 extends through the second hole 52 of the second extension 210, the two tubular members and the second hole 52 of the first extension 21. The restriction end 544 is sized larger than the second hole 52 of the second extension 210 so that the second shaft 54 does not drop from the second hole 52 of the second extension 210. The fixing end 531 of the first shaft 53 may have a larger end to prevent it from dropping from the second hole 52 of the second extension 210. The connection end 545 of the second shaft 54 extends beyond the second hole 52 of the first extension 21.
An eccentric sleeve 542 is located in the second hole 52 of the first extension 21 and has a first eccentric hole 5421 defined axially therethrough. The eccentric sleeve 542 has two flat faces 5423 defined in the outside thereof. An adjustment member 543 has a second eccentric hole 5431 defined axially therethrough. The eccentric sleeve 542 securely extends through the second eccentric hole 5431 of the adjustment member 543. The eccentric sleeve 542 has a radial hole 5422 which communicates with the first eccentric hole 5421. A bolt 55 threadedly extends through the radial hole 5422 and contacts against the elongate body 541. The adjustment member 543 is engaged with the second hole 52 of the first extension 21. The connection end 545 of the second shaft 54 has outer threads 547 which are threadedly connected to a second urging member 546. The adjustment member 543 has a lever 5432 extending therefrom.

When the users wants to adjust the grinding roller 40 after a period of time of use, the first and second urging members 533, 546 are loosened, and the adjustment member 543 is rotated by operating the lever 5432 to rotate the adjustment member 543 relative to the eccentric sleeve 542, in the meanwhile, the eccentric sleeve 542 does not rotate. It is noted that the restriction end 544 is sized larger than the second hole 52 of the second extension 210 so that the second shaft 54 does not drop from the second hole 52 of the second extension 210.
