Claims
- 1. An antenna mechanism for a non-contact IC card system for communication with a non-contact IC card passing a gate, said antenna mechanism comprising:
- an antenna; and
- a conductive shielding body located on an outer side of a gate to eliminate a communication area outside the gate by shielding electromagnetic waves from said antenna, wherein said conductive shielding body comprises a box covering back and side surfaces of said antenna.
- 2. An antenna mechanism for a non-contact IC card system for communication with a non-contact IC card passing a gate, said antenna mechanism comprising:
- an antenna including at least a receiving antenna;
- a conductive shielding body located on an outer side of a gate to eliminate a communication area outside the gate by shielding electromagnetic waves from said antenna; and
- ground means for connecting said conductive shielding body to a ground having the same electric potential as said receiving antenna.
- 3. An antenna mechanism for a non-contact IC card system for communication with a non-contact IC card passing a gate, said antenna mechanism comprising:
- an antenna for communicating with a non-contact IC card passing a gate:
- a conductive shielding body located on an outer side of the gate to eliminate a communication area outside the gate by shielding electromagnetic waves from said antenna; and
- an insulating antenna mounting support on which said antenna is mounted.
- 4. The antenna mechanism of claim 3, wherein said insulating antenna mounting support comprises a wood material.
- 5. The antenna mechanism of claim 3, wherein said insulating antenna mounting support comprises a plastic material.
- 6. The antenna mechanism of claim 3, wherein said insulating antenna mounting support comprises a glass material.
- 7. The antenna mechanism of claim 3, wherein said insulating antenna mounting support comprises a resin material.
- 8. The antenna mechanism of claim 3, wherein said insulating antenna mounting support comprises first and second insulating members, wherein said conductive shielding body is mounted to said first and second insulating members and said antenna is mounted inside said conductive shielding body.
