Claims
- 1. A method for chemoprevention of skin tumors in mammals which comprises administering to the skin of a mammal a composition comprising a compound of the general formula ##STR9## wherein R means a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group, as an active ingredient, and a pharmaceutical acceptable carrier, said composition being administered in an amount effective to prevent skin tumors.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein said compound is 5,7,2'-trihydroxyflavone.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein said compound is 5,7,2',3'-tetrahydroxyflavone.
