Claims
- 1. A compound represented by the formula (I): ##STR327## wherein r is 1, and m is 0 or 1; A is N or CH;
- W denotes thiazole which may have one or more substituent groups, whose 2-position or 5-position is connected to the carbon having a hydroxyl group;
- X denotes a benzene ring which may have one or more substituent groups;
- Y denotes a group represented by --S--, >SO, >SO.sub.2, >C.dbd.S, >C.dbd.O, --O--, >N--R.sup.6, >C.dbd.N--OR.sup.6 or --(CH.sub.2).sub.j --, in which R.sup.6 denotes a hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group, and j denotes an integer of 1 to 4; and
- Z denotes a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, lower alkyl group, halogenated lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, halogenated lower alkoxy group, hydroxyl group, thiol group, nitro group, cyano group, lower alkanoyl group, phenyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, phenoxy group which may have one or more substituent groups, pyridyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, imidazolyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, triazolyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, tetrazolyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, or amino group which may have one or more substituent groups, or a salt thereof.
- 2. The compound as claimed in claim 1, wherein the compound represented by the formula (I) is a compound represented by the following formula (II): ##STR328## wherein A, Y, Z and m have the same meaning as defined in claim 1, and thiazole and benzene connected thereto may have one or more substituent groups.
- 3. The compound as claimed in claim 1, wherein the compound represented by the formula (I) is a compound represented by the following formula (III): ##STR329## wherein A, Y, Z and m have the same meaning as defined in claim 1, and thiazole and benzene connected thereto may have one or more substituent groups.
- 4. The compound as claimed in claim 1, wherein such compound is a compound represented by the formula: ##STR330##
- 5. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound represented by the formula (I): ##STR331## wherein r is 1, and m is 0 or 1; A is N or CH;
- W denotes thiazole which may have one or more substituent groups, whose 2-position or 5-position is connected to the carbon having a hydroxyl group;
- X denotes a benzene ring which may have one or more substituent groups;
- Y denotes a group represented by --S--, >SO, >SO.sub.2, >C.dbd.S, >C.dbd.O, --O--, >N--R.sup.6, >C.dbd.N--OR.sup.6 or --(CH.sub.2).sub.j --, in which R.sup.6 denotes a hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group, and j denotes an integer of 1 to 4; and
- Z denotes a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, lower alkyl group, halogenated lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, halogenated lower alkoxy group, hydroxyl group, thiol group, nitro group, cyano group, lower alkanoyl group, phenyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, phenoxy group which may have one or more substituent groups, pyridyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, imidazolyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, triazolyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, tetrazolyl group which may have one or more substituent groups, or amino group which may have one or more substituent groups, or a salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier therefor.
