Claims
- 1. A process for relieving coughing comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of a compound having the general formula ##STR7## wherein n is an integer from 2 to 3, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each separately represent a lower alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or they form together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached a piperidine ring which is substituted by a methyl group, and non-toxic acid addition salts thereof.
- 2. The process of claim 1 in which the compound is administered orally.
