Claims
- 1. An apparatus for forming a metal feedstock from waste metal products, comprising:a first and second magnetic separator for separating sheet-shaped scraps and cast blocks, respectively, from crushed waste metal products; a first, second and third measuring means for measuring out an amount of sheet-shaped scraps, cast blocks and sheet-shaped scraps, respectively, wherein said first and third measuring means receive the sheet-shaped scraps separated by said first magnetic separator, and said second measuring means receives the cast blocks separated by said second magnetic separator; a transport means for successively transporting the amounts of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps measured out by said first, second and third measuring means respectively; a holding means for receiving and holding the amounts of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps successively transported by said transport means, thereby forming a layered arrangement of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps in said holding means; and a pressing means for simultaneously pressing the layered arrangement of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps in said holding means to form a metal feedstock having a sandwich structure.
- 2. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 1, wherein each of said first, second and third measuring means have an outlet sequentially arranged over said transporting means so that the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps measured out by said first, second and third measuring means are transported successively.
- 3. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 1, wherein a magnetic flux density formed around the crushed waste metal products by said second-magnetic separator is greater than a magnetic flux density formed around the crushed waste metal products by said first-magnetic separator.
- 4. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 1, further comprising a size-selecting means for selecting the cast blocks into two groups according to the size of the blocks.
- 5. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 1, further comprising a supplying means for supplying at least one kind of content adjuster to said transport means.
- 6. An apparatus for forming a metal feedstock from waste metal products, comprising:a first and second magnetic separator for separating sheet-shaped scraps and cast blocks, respectively, from crushed waste metal products; a first, second and third hopper for measuring out an amount of sheet-shaped scraps, cast blocks and sheet-shaped scraps, respectively, wherein said first and third hoppers receive the sheet-shaped scraps separated by said first magnetic separator, and said second hopper receives the cast blocks separated by said second magnetic separator; a conveyor for successively transporting the amounts of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps measured out by said first, second and third hoppers respectively; a holder for receiving and holding the amounts of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps successively transported by said conveyor, thereby forming a layered arrangement of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps in said holder; and a sandwich press for simultaneously pressing the layered arrangement of the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps in said holder to form a metal feedstock having a sandwich structure.
- 7. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 6, wherein each of said first, second and third hoppers have an outlet sequentially arranged over said conveyor so that the sheet-shaped scraps, the cast blocks and the sheet-shaped scraps measured out by said first, second and third hoppers are transported successively.
- 8. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 6, wherein a magnetic flux density formed around the crushed waste metal products by said second-magnetic separator is greater than a magnetic flux density formed around the crushed waste metal products by said first-magnetic separator.
- 9. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 6, further comprising a sorter for selecting the cast blocks into two groups according to the size of the blocks.
- 10. The apparatus for forming a metal feedstock according to claim 6, further comprising an adjuster hopper for supplying at least one kind of content adjuster to said conveyor.
