Claims
- 1. An apparatus for generating an underelastomer shock pressure comprises:
- a combustion chamber whose cross-sectional area decreases from one end of the chamber toward another end of the chamber:
- an ignition chamber, to which fuel is fed and in which a spark producing means is positioned;
- a plurality of guidance paths extending from said ignition chamber and communicating with one end of said combustion chamber, each of the guidance paths having substantially the same length; and
- a pressure medium chamber which is connected to an opening of said another end of said combustion chamber and which contains an elastic rubber-like body.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1, which further comprises:
- a forming chamber communicating with said pressure medium chamber;
- a forming die, adapted to hold a member to be formed and which is pressurized by the underelastomer shock pressure via a film, being contained in said forming chamber.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 1, which further comprises:
- a forming chamber communicating with said pressure medium chamber; and
- a forming die, adapted to hold a member to be formed and which is pressurized directly by the underelastomer shock pressure, being contained in said forming chamber.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 2, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies by stages, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 5. The apparatus of claim 3, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies by stages, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 6. The apparatus of claim 2, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies continuously, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 7. The apparatus of claim 3, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies continuously, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 8. The apparatus of claim 2, which further comprises a replaceable medium, arranged in said opening of said combustion chamber, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 9. The apparatus of claim 3, which further comprises a replaceable medium, arranged in said opening of said combustion chamber, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 10. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein a part of the elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber is detachable.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein a part of the elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber is detachable.
- 12. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the pressure medium chamber can be separated from the forming chamber.
- 13. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein the pressure medium chamber can be separated from the forming chamber.
- 14. The apparatus of claim 1, which further comprises:
- a punching chamber communicating with said pressure medium chamber; and
- a punching die, adapted to hold a member to be punched and which is pressurized by the underelastomer shock pressure via a film, being contained in said punching chamber.
- 15. The apparatus of claim 1, which further comprises:
- a punching chamber communicating with said pressure medium chamber; and
- a punching die, adapted to hold a member to be punched and which is pressurized directly by the underelastomer shock pressure, being contained in said punching chamber.
- 16. The apparatus of claim 14, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies by stages, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 17. The apparatus of claim 15, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies by stages, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 18. The apparatus of claim 14, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies continuously, contained in the elastic body pressure chamber.
- 19. The apparatus of claim 15, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies continuously, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 20. The apparatus of claim 14, which further comprises a replaceable medium, which is present in an opening of said combustion chamber, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 21. The apparatus of claim 15, which further comprises a replaceable medium, which is present in an opening of said combustion chamber, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 22. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein a part of the elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber is detachable.
- 23. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein a part of the elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber is detachable.
- 24. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber can be separated from the punching chamber.
- 25. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein said elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber can be separated from the the punching chamber.
- 26. The apparatus of claim 1, which further comprises:
- a restriking chamber communicating with said pressure medium chamber; and
- a forming die, adapted to hold a member to be restruck and which is pressurized by the underelastomer shock pressure via a film, being contained in said restriking chamber.
- 27. The apparatus of claim 1, which further comprises:
- a restriking chamber communicating with said underelastomer shock pressure chamber; and
- a forming die, adapted to hold a member to be restruck and which is pressurized directly by the elastic body pressure, being contained in said restriking chamber.
- 28. The apparatus of claim 26, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies by stages, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 29. The apparatus of claim 27, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies by stages, contained in the elastic body pressure chamber.
- 30. The apparatus of claim 26, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies continuously, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 31. The apparatus of claim 27, which further comprises a medium, in which a propagating direction of pressure waves varies continuously, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 32. The apparatus of claim 26, which further comprises a replaceable medium, which is present in an opening of said combustion chamber, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 33. The apparatus of claim 27, which further comprises a replaceable medium which is present in an opening of said combustion chamber, contained in the pressure medium chamber.
- 34. The apparatus of claim 26, wherein a part of the elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber is detachable.
- 35. The apparatus of claim 27, wherein a part of the elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber is detachable.
- 36. The apparatus of claim 26, wherein said elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber can be separated from the restriking chamber and is arranged to contact a surface of a side of the member to be restruck, to which a pressure is applied.
- 37. The apparatus of claim 27, wherein said elastic rubber-like body in the pressure medium chamber can be separated from the restriking chamber and and is arranged to contact a surface of a side of the member to be restruck, to which a pressure is applied.
