Claims
- 1. An apparatus for inhibitively preventing birds from crowding at the upper part of a building, comprising;
- a first base member adapted to be secured to the upper end of an opening portion located above the upper part of said building, said first base member extending along the upper end of said opening portion in the horizontal direction,
- a plurality of wires suspended from said first base member in the equally spaced relationship as seen in the horizontal direction,
- a second base member detachably secured to said plurality of wires at the lower end parts of the wires to serve also as a weight for said apparatus, said second base member extending in parallel with said first base member in the horizontal direction,
- a plurality of magnetic members disposed at the lower end parts of said wires above said second base member in the spaced relationship as seen in the horizontal direction, and
- a wire connecting/disconnecting mechanism for connecting said wires to said second base member and disconnecting from the second base member.
- 2. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein said wire connecting/disconnecting mechanism includes a split type chuck disposed in said second base member so as to allow a wire to be inserted therethrough in the disconnected state, a coil spring disposed below said chuck to normally bias the latter in the upward direction so as to hold said chuck from below to assume a connected state, and a depressing pin inserted through a hole formed in said second base member for splitting said chuck into two halves so as to release said wire from the connected state.
- 3. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein a depressing plate is arranged above said second base member in order to simultaneously release said wires from the connecting state by actuating said wire connecting/disconnecting mechanism.
- 4. An apparatus for inhibitively preventing birds from crowding at the upper part of a building, comprising;
- a first base member adapted to be secured to the upper end of an opening portion located at the upper end of said building, said first base member extending along the upper end of said opening portion in the horizontal direction,
- a plurality of wires suspended from said first base member in the equally spaced relationship as seen in the horizontal direction,
- a second base member detachably secured to said plurality of wires at the lower end parts of the wires to serve also as a weight for said apparatus, said second base member extending in parallel with said first base member in the horizontal direction,
- a plurality of magnetic members disposed at the lower end part of said wires above said second base member in the spaced relationship as seen in the horizontal direction, and
- a curtain mechanism arranged below said first base member to displace said wires together in the horizontal direction so as to form a wide hollow space between said first base member and said second base member in order that persons living in a room can quickly escape from the wires to the outside through said wide hollow space or firemen can easily enter said room through the same at the time of an occurrence of emergency such as firing or the like.
- 5. The apparatus as claimed in claim 4, wherein said curtain mechanism includes a casing, a rail received in said casing, and a plurality of hooks displaceably held by said rail for suspending said wires therefrom in such a manner as to allow said wires to be slidably displaced in the horizontal direction with the aid of said rail.
