Claims
- 1. An apparatus for producing plastic objects with solid regions and hollow regions, comprising:a molding tool including at least two halves with a cavity; a plasticizing unit; a plastic injection nozzle; at least one fluid injection nozzle; and means for essentially blocking off a part of the cavity; the apparatus:blocking off a portion of the cavity of a molding tool; injecting plastic melt into the unblocked portion of the cavity of the molding tool along a melt flow path, which extends from the plasticizing unit through the plastic injection nozzle into the molding tool; unblocking the cavity enabling the plastic melt to reach the previously blocked-off portion of the cavity; simultaneously and/or subsequently to injecting the plastic melt, injecting a pressurized fluid into the melt via the at least one fluid injection nozzle, so that the melt injected into the molding tool is distributed into the desired portions of the cavity while forming a hollow space and is pressed against the cavity walls of the molding tool; allowing the molded part thus produced to cool down to a temperature below the melting point of the plastic melt; relieving the cavity of the pressure of the compressed fluid; and demolding the molded part.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the means for blocking off a part of the cavity includes a slider element which is pushed into the cavity to block the portion of the cavity and which is withdrawn to unblock the portion of the cavity.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the slider element for blocking off a portion of the cavity is operated by a controller.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 2, further comprising a heater which heats the melt in a region of the slider element.
- 5. An apparatus for producing plastic objects with solid regions and hollow regions, comprising:a molding tool having a cavity; a plasticizing unit which supplies a plastic melt that is introduced into the cavity through a plastic injection nozzle; at least one fluid injection nozzle which injects a pressurized fluid into the melt to distribute the melt against walls of the cavity of the molding tool either simultaneously and/or subsequently to introduction of the plastic melt in the cavity; and a slider which at least partially blocks off a portion of the cavity during the introduction of the plastic melt and which then allows the plastic melt to flow into the cavity either simultaneously and/or subsequently to injection of the pressurized fluid into the cavity.
- 6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the slider incompletely blocks off the portion of the cavity to enable some plastic melt to enter.
- 7. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the controller opens and closes the slider in dependence on the time after the injection molding cycle begins and/or in dependence on the pressure in the cavity.
- 8. The apparatus of claim 5, further comprising a heater which heats the melt in a region of the slider.
