Claims
- 1. An apparatus for producing a slubby strand comprising in combination a surface including means to receive a textile strand thereon, means to rapidly draw said textile strand from said surface and means to introduce high pressure fluid onto said surface and to create a pair of fluid vortices above said surface while said strand is being drawn over said surface to thereby produce slubs in said strand.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said surface is formed on the periphery of a wheel.
