- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said movable member driving means includes a driving motor secured to said stationary member and having a driving shaft, and said transmission means includes a transmission portion for transmitting a rotation of said driving shaft of said driving motor to a movement of said second guide portion of the transmission means.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said transmission portion of the transmission means is formed by a gear portion, said movable member driving means includes a rotating cylinder which is arranged rotatable about said imaginary axis and is rotated by said driving motor via said gear portion, and said second guide portion includes a guide recess formed in said rotating cylinder and a pin secured to said movable member and inserted into said guide recess.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said information has been recorded in said optical record disk by taking advantage of at least thermal energy of light irradiated onto said optical record disk.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said information has been recorded in said optical record disk based on a magneto-optical recording mechanism.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said movable member comprises a plurality of positioning pins.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said apparatus further comprising a position detecting means for detecting a condition that said movable member has been moved into said first position to supply a position signal to said control means.
- 8. An apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said position detecting means detects a position of said second guide portion relative to said stationary member.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 8, wherein said position detecting means comprises a projection provided on said second guide portion and a detector for detecting a position of said projection with respect to said stationary member.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said optical head comprises a second photo-detector for monitoring a part of the laser beam emitted by said semiconductor laser.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said movable member driving means includes a coiled spring arranged between said stationary member and said second guide portion.
- 12. An apparatus according to claim 11, wherein said movable member driving means includes a sliding plate which is arranged to be movable in said imaginary plane substantially parallel with said surface of said optical record disk, said sliding plate having a recess, and a guide member which is projected from said stationary member and is inserted into said recess.
- 13. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein said apparatus further comprising a position detecting means for detecting a condition that said movable member has been moved into said first position to supply a position signal to said control means.
- 14. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said position detecting means detects a position of said sliding plate constituting said second guide portion relative to said stationary member.
- 15. An apparatus according to claim 14, wherein said position detecting means comprises a light transmitting portion formed in said sliding plate and a light interrupter for detecting a position of said light transmitting portion of the sliding plate with respect to said stationary member.
- 16. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein said apparatus comprises a resilient member for generating a restoring force by means of which said movable member is resiliently urged against said transmission means in a direction from said first position to said second position at least under a condition such that said optical record disk has been coupled with said turntable.
