Claims
- 1. A storage vessel for use in a body of water including a side wall which defines a storing space for storing heavy hydrocarbon oil in a solidified state,
- a floating roof for covering the top area of the storing space,
- a top heater secured to said roof and positioned in said vessel below said roof to define an unloading space between the undersurface of the roof and the top heater,
- said top heater covering substantially the entire area of the upper portion of said space, and
- loading and unloading means comprising a nozzle projecting into said storage space which contains the oil when refluidized to withdraw the fluidized oil, said storage vessel being buoyant and having an open lower end.
