Claims
- 1. An apparatus for stretch blow molding a preform into a hollow container having a heat-resistant property, said apparatus comprising a heatable blow mold for forming the preform located therein into the hollow container by a biaxially stretching and blow molding process and a heat setting mold for heat setting the hollow container, wherein said apparatus further comprises a stretching rod for longitudinally stretching said preform when said stretching rod is forwardly moved in engagement with the inner bottom of said preform, said stretching rod including a cooling medium introducing tube centrally located therein, said cooling medium introducing tube having an outlet port formed therein at the forward end, said outlet port being configured to introduce the cooling medium into the interior of said hollow container, the outer periphery of said cooling medium introducing tube being surrounded by thermally insulating means.
- 2. An apparatus as defined in claim 1 wherein said stretching rod is of a double-tubed construction consisting of an inner cooling medium introducing tube and an outer insulation fluid introducing tube for introducing a thermal insulation fluid around the said inner tube and discharging the thermal insulation fluid near the forward end of said rod.
- 3. An apparatus as defined in claim 1 wherein said stretching rod is of a double-tubed construction consisting of an inner cooling medium introducing tube and an outer exhausting tube for receiving a fluid taken heat from said hollow container near the forward end of said rod, conducting said fluid around the outer periphery of said cooling medium introducing tube and then exhausting said fluid out of said outer tube.
- 4. An apparatus as defined in claim 1 wherein said stretching rod is of a double-tubed construction consisting of an inner cooling medium introducing tube and an outer air-tight tube providing a vacuum space around the outer periphery of said inner tube.
- 5. An apparatus for stretch blow molding a preform into a hollow container having a heat-resistant property, comprising a blow mold for forming the preform located therein by a biaxially stretching and blow molding process and a heat setting mold for holding the hollow container transferred from said blow mold at a temperature of heat setting for a predetermined period of time, wherein said apparatus further comprises a cooling medium introducing rod movable axially in the interior of said hollow container placed in said heat setting mold, said rod including a centrally located tube for introducing a cooling medium into the interior of the hollow container, said cooling medium introducing tube being surrounded by thermally insulating means.
- 6. An apparatus as defined in claim 5 wherein said rod is of a double-tubed construction consisting of an inner cooling medium introducing tube and an outer insulation fluid introducing tube for introducing a thermal insulation fluid around the said inner tube and discharging the thermal insulation fluid near the forward end of said rod.
- 7. An apparatus as defined in claim 5, further comprising means for introducing a blow molding fluid into said hollow container located within said heat setting mold and wherein said cooling medium introducing rod is of a double-tubed construction consisting of an inner cooling medium introducing tube and an outer exhausting tube for receiving the blow molding fluid taken heat from said hollow container near the forward end of said rod, conducting the blow molding fluid around the outer periphery of said inner cooling medium introducing tube and then exhausting said blow molding fluid out of said outer tube.
- 8. An apparatus as defined in claim 5 wherein said cooling medium introducing rod is of a double-tubed construction consisting of an inner cooling medium introducing tube and an outer air-tight tube providing a vacuum space around the outer periphery of said inner tube.
